My duties as Design Manager Electrical are to Review & comments on design briefs, drawings, specifications, datasheets, and reports. Attending technical and progress meetings with consultants, sub consultants and client. Attend RFIs and provide required information against each RFI. Coordinate with AOR/EOR, lead consultants, sub consultants and client. Actively involved in technical discussions and resolve the issues in design.
Design and Project management of medium &low Voltage power system and substations (underground and overhead systems), infrastructure projects like high rise buildings and Industrial projects. housing schemes, lighting for Roads, Bridges, tunnels, underpasses and all electrical installation for water pumping stations, parks, Gardens, and for high rise Buildings (shopping malls, Residential units, offices Hospitals and Hotels).
Design and supervise all construction activities of Medium & low Voltage switchgear, RMU, Transformers and medium/low voltage overhead/underground cables, cable ducts, cable risers, cable trays, lightening protection system, earthing system, emergency lighting, Fire Alarm, firefighting system, HVAC, CCTV, Audio system, BMS, UPS, Telephone & Intercom system, Parking lightings, Standby Generators, and all lighting for buildings recommended by interior designer.

Instrumentation & calibration of energy meters including CTs, PTs, VTs, Protection Relays & all metering devices.
Factory Acceptance Tests for Transformers & energy meters.
Selection and purchasing of new test equipment, and the schedule maintenance of a wide range of existing equipment.
Programming, testing & installation of high, medium& low voltage energy meters with Communication and AMR software.
Technical and administrative management, plan, schedule, and man-hour estimation.
Member of the load Regulatory Authority, Authority is responsible for the approval of load for new consumers.
Coordinate with the operation department to arrange shutdowns for maintenance.
Testing & commissioning of all instruments, cables, protection & control system after 8installation.
