Joined the organization as Cargo Agent.
Key Responsibilities in National Aviation Services: ➢ Several duties related to import/export cargo handling on shift. Includes preparing cargo manifests, cargo weight estimated and final load statement. Prepared AWB's and distributed documents according to established procedures. Attended cargo reception counter for acceptance cargo and also performed cashiering functions during the shift.
➢ Worked in Cargo Reception Counter to receive customers and answer queries. Includes receiving customers together with cargo, checking instruction for dispatch of good for proper completion by customers, prepares Air Way Bill, collects correct charges from customers and handover to supervisor, obtains signature of customer on Air Way Bill, and distributes according to established procedures.
➢ To enter all import / export airway bill data in the system, according to NAS procedure.
➢ Carried out other similar or related duties such as checking that cargo / mail is being loaded on ramp, dispatching routine telexes, answering queries.
➢ Responsibility to comply with the applicable laws, regulations and procedures of NAS and customers
➢ Responsibility for exercising due diligence towards Health & Safety of self & others in the organization and also environmental protection.
➢ Responsibility for Safety & Quality of the function/ Task performed.
➢ Responsibility for reporting to his superiors' occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect safety, security and company reputation.
