• Project Proposal Review and feasibility study
• Preparation/Review of CDP and Front End Engineering Design Packages (FEED).
• Review and approval of Detailed Engineering Packages includes Specification/Data Sheet, Project Drawings, Detailed scope of Work, Bill of materials, Codes and Standards Statement, Scope of materials supply, Project Scheduling, Inspection, Safety & Quality requirements Etc.
• Preparation / Review of design calculation such as Generator, Transformer sizing, Breaker sizing, Cable sizing, Battery sizing, Lighting etc, and electrical power adequacy study report.
• Review and approval of EPC contractor’s BDEP & DEP documents, TR/MR for procurements, Technical Bid Evaluations, IFC (Issued for Construction) packages and project execution plans.
• Witnessing of FAT and SAT
• To prepare the schedule of maintenance activities and to follow the maintenance activities as per schedule.
• Follows up to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe and high technical standard, timely, efficient and cost effective manner to maximize plant availability to meet production targets.
• Issues Hot & Cold work permits and excavation work permits according to work nature as per company safety standard procedure.
• Work permit approval for maintenance job.
• Maintain and ensure the availability of Tools, spares, critical spares and consumables for trouble free execution of all maintenance activities.
• Investigate chronic maintenance problems by reviewing and analyzing reliable plant and equipment maintenance data.
• Recommends appropriate solution to prevent recurrence.
• Identifying plant constraints/bottle necks affecting efficient operation of the plant. Conduct appropriate test runs and suggest recommendations to achieve the objective.
• Preparation/review of predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
• Preparation/review of SOP & SMP.
• Liaise with other discipline engineers for smooth running of plant operation.
• Providing technical support to Operations and Maintenance Departments.
• Provides expert advice to operations on maintenance issues related to electrical process equipment.
• To create notification through SAP for maintenance activities and to update maintenance records.
• Equipment spares planning and procurement through SAP.
• Active participation in the HAZOP/Risk Assessment and implementing HAZOP/Risk Assessment recommendations successfully.
• Complying company Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
• Proactive in identifying safety observation, near miss and reporting safety issues in work place.
• As-Built Review and Approval.
- Responsible for operation and maintenance for all kinds of HV/MV/LV electrical equipments, Project expansion activities involving engineering documents/drawings review and approval, Review and approval of EPC Bid packages, Technical bid evaluation, installation and commissioning.
- Vast experience in all kinds of electrical equipment maintenance, trouble shooting and repair works.
-Vast experience in overhauling of AC motors which includes replacement of bearings, rotor shaft, slip rings, carbon brush, end cover, terminal blocks, stator and rotor rewinding, Servicing of MV & LV circuit breakers of oil, air blast, vacuum and SF-6 type circuit breakers.
- Condition monitoring of electrical equipment through Engineers / Supervisors / Technicians and Contract agencies
- Planning and execution of day-to-day scheduled preventive, corrective maintenance and shutdown maintenance activities on electrical equipment through Engineers / Supervisors / Technicians and Contract agencies.
- Equipment spares planning and procurement through SAP.
- Documenting SOP, SMP, ISO 14001 and maintaining records.
- Implementing safety practices in consultation with Safety officer.
- Active participation in the HAZOP study and preparation of Job Safety Analysis
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of HV/LV substations and all kinds of HV/MV/LV electrical equipments.
- Project expansion activities, Installation and commisiioning High voltage substation, Captive Power Plants, Switchgears, High Current Rectifiers and Rectifier transformers, Harmonic filter banks, MV & LV PCC’s & MCC’s, and all process related power & control equipments.
- Protective relays coordination & settings.
- Executing works through engineers/ Supervisors/ Technicians/ Contract agencies.
- To prepare the schedule of maintenance activities and to follow the maintenance activities as per schedule.
- Follows up to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe and high technical standard, timely, efficient and cost effective manner to maximize plant availability to meet production targets.

Site in charge for materials receiving, checking and certifying, Installation, testing and commisiioning of HV / LV substations, DG's, Switchgears and its related Electrical equipments.
