Assistant Resident Engineer & Stakeholders Representative

Job Responsibilities

• Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising the construction & infrastructure works.
• Act in place of the Resident Engineer when on leave or absent.
• Coordinate his direct activities with the other engineers and members of the construction supervision team.
• Assist the Resident Engineer in reviewing of shop drawings, design proposals, method statements and other
activities including correspondence related to the utility section and prepare replies for the review of the
Resident Engineer.
• Coordinate with Parsons' design engineers for resolution of related issues.
• Maintain the daily diary and the daily reportsvia inspection.
• Coordinate with the contractor engineers on scheduling and application of resources.
• Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the inspectors and surveyors.
• Convene and chair special meetings with the client &  service authorities, the contractor, subcontractors and
other parties related to his work.

Civil engineer
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conducting daily site supervision also inspections and accepted work as per
approved shop drawings and submitted materials also safety or recommended
standards.
2. Checked the entire reinforcements before concreting, documented and
provided feedback for poor quality administering concrete placement and
quality control of concrete pours.
3. Site Management
 Supervise and direct staff members and construction operation or
maintenance activities at project site including coordination with
senior or RE engineer & client, delegation, arrangement,
subcontract bills and initiate invoice preparation.
 Manage the daily schedule requirements of various projects in terms
of materials, manpower and equipment’s. Ensure optimum utilization
of resources to meet project deadlines.
 In charge of collecting and providing daily, weekly Site
observation report as well as report to resident engineer.

I am an excellent communicator and have had experience of dealing with people up to Senior Management level. On occasion I have been required to take minutes for board meetings which require great detail and accuracy, self motivated and spend a great deal of time working on projects on my own initiative, however I also work as part of a bigger team and I enjoy the balance of this. I can plan my time effectively and like to manage my list of tasks ensuring that each job gets completed on time.
