1. Implements structured GBV prevention activities, including conducting outreach, organizing sessions, implementing sessions and ensuring safe identification and referral of GBV and other protection cases to appropriate services.
2. Ensures DRC has effective referral pathways to high quality survivor centered GBV Case Management, and other services, as needed.
3. Coordinates closely with the MEAL team in the monitoring of, and learning from, project activities.
4. Supports in the development of GBV awareness and prevention materials.
5. Ensures protection principles are mainstreamed throughout the project activities.
6. Assists the Protection Team Leader/protection specialist in administrative matters related to GBV activities.
7. Assists the Protection Team Leader/protection specialist in the timely reporting of project activities, including ensuring all activities are accurately documented on DRC Jordan’s IM database.
8. Coordinates closely with relevant GBV partners to facilitate cross-programming, and ensure timely access to referral pathways.
9. Collaborate with the team leader and protection team members to carry out outreach and community mobilization activities in designated areas, ensuring active participation in individual identification and case assessments as needed.

1. Prepare and lead approved training for partners and IRC advisors on referral pathway/SOPs, GBV Core concept, safe referral, PFA, EMAP, Parents of adolescents and other topics related to service delivery.
2. Assist Senior Officers in team meetings, self-care and case management coordination meetings as needed and required.
3. Support the capacity building for the IRC partners in Jordan, including implementation plans, outreach, MEAL, community involvement, and any other needed aspects.
4. Follow up on project work plans in coordination with WPE Senior Capacity Building Officer, Senior Program Officer, and relevant departments.
5. Write monthly reports for the WPE program and capacity building on the activities conducted, advancements, challenges, and requested support.
6. Work to strengthen IRC’s relationship with refugees, refugee/host community leaders, and municipal actors to maintain good access to POCs.
7. Liaise with partners to solve issues, communicate needs, and find opportunities to collaborate.
8. Support and facilitate field visits for stakeholders interested in IRC’s programming in Jordan.

1. Establish Work plan to ensure proper startup of the project in accordance with the donor expectations and standards.
2. Work closely with the community outreach team, the Senior Outreach Officer, and the rest of the WPE team to continuously design and adapt the community outreach and mobilization strategy.
3. Conduct initial needs assessment and service mapping in the targeted locations to ensure design and implementation of adequate services and coordination with other international and national actors.
4. Conduct initial assessments and community mapping to identify key CBOs, community leaders and potential women’s groups or other community initiatives supporting vulnerable women and girls.
5. Conduct regular awareness raising sessions in communities, including in child-friendly spaces, schools and other places of gathering initially identified as accessible by community members.
6. Raise awareness on the Inter Agency SOPs and referral pathway for GBV services based on needs assessment, service mapping and capacity assessment of potential partners.
7. Support and lead training on GBV basic concepts, risk identification and mitigation, SOPs and referral pathway.
8. Ensure the establishment and maintenance of effective engagement with communities and with local government partners, to ensure responsive and sustainable programming.
9. Work closely with the senior community outreach officer, the communication department and the WPE program manager to develop effective Information, Education and Communication tools.
10. Establish and maintain collaborative relationship between IRC and other partners.
11. Provide weekly updates and monthly reports on the progress of implementation.

1. Provide specialist psychosocial services to children, young Children, and their families.
2. Responsible for initiating the PSS activities for children, Building, and implementing behavior modification plans.
3. Implementation peer education sessions
4. Build good relationships with parents and provide them with regular feedback and positive guides in how to enhance children’s development.
5. Refer severe psychological cases that need comprehensive intervention to other organizations according to level of case and specialty of organization.
6. Assist the Project Officer in providing sufficient and detailed information for program reporting to donors based on the on-going monitoring of the activities.
7. Write monthly reports on all the activities implemented as requested according to the project and management indicators.
8. Establish a project database, assessments, activities analysis, pre-posttest, for the project services.
9. Advise on risks during the project implementation and make recommendations for risk mitigation measures.
10. Ensure that all the documents and information are accurately filed and organized, and immediately accessible to project staff, while ensuring the confidentiality of the data.
