Project Description :
Construction of Armed Forces Housing Project is a residential township containing mainly:
o 74 buildings with two stories -, four apartments each. Total = 592 apartments.
o Friday Mosque (1800 Persons) and three mosques (400 persons).
o One elevated, one domestic and two irrigation water tanks.
o Around 8 km of roads, 70, 000 m2 parking areas and 4.5 km of fence
o Domestic, waste water and electro-mechanical systems… etc.
Project Value: 580, 000, 000 SR. (150, 000, 000 USD)
Projects included: Merowe Dam Project and various related structures such as:
Concrete Dam, Earth & Rock-fill Dam with total length about 10 Km.
•Residential buildings, administrative offices and supporting facilities buildings such as operation and maintenance workshops and warehouses.
•Power station 1250 MW (and related sub-stations systems).
• Roads including bridges and culverts. Fences with controlled gates.
•Domestic and waste water systems, fire-fighting and electromechanical systems…etc.
•Reinforced concrete work around 2 million m3, including cast in-situ and precast.
