Financial Management & Reporting
• Manage general ledger activities across multiple concurrently active ADNOC projects, ensuring accurate
cost allocation, inter-project reconciliation, and financial integrity of the trial balance.
• Generating upper management requested reports and refining them to be suitable for the goal it was
requested for.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Oversee the full AP and AR cycles across multiple projects: from invoice verification, three-way matching
(PO/GRN/invoice), payment processing, and dispute resolution to receivables monitoring and collection
follow-ups.
• Prepare aging analysis reports (AP/AR) to proactively manage outstanding balances, optimize working
capital, and support cash flow forecasting.
• Review and validate purchase orders (POs), local purchase orders (LPOs), subcontract agreements, and
payment terms to ensure contractual compliance before financial commitment.
Trade Finance & Banking Operations
• Coordinate with banking partners (FAB, ADIB, Arab Bank) in the administration of USD 500M+ in credit
facilities, including monitoring facility utilization, compliance with covenants, and preparation of supporting
documentation.
• Process and administer Letters of Credit (LC) with the procurement team for major procurement
transactions, including a single LC-based procurement order exceeding USD 140 million — managing
documentation, compliance, and bank coordination end-to-end.
• Monitor bank account positions across multiple currencies and entities; perform daily and monthly bank
reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in coordination with treasury and banking teams.
Compliance & Internal Controls
• Manage UAE VAT compliance: prepare and reconcile VAT returns, validate input/output tax claims
across project transactions, and liaise with the tax team to ensure timely FTA submissions.
• Strengthen internal financial controls by reviewing and improving accounting workflows, standardizing
documentation requirements, and supporting internal and external audit processes.
• Review EPC contracts, vendor agreements, and ADNOC project terms to ensure financial obligations and
payment milestones are accurately reflected in the books.

Began career with Petrojet at the corporate headquarters in Cairo, gaining foundational expertise in accounts
receivable management, financial reporting, and EPC project accounting before transitioning to the UAE operations.
• Managed the full accounts receivable cycle for multiple EPC projects: invoicing, client reconciliations,
collection follow-ups, and AR aging analysis to monitor and minimize outstanding balances.
• Performed regular posting error reviews across multiple departments, identifying and correcting journal
entry discrepancies to maintain ledger accuracy.
• Supported the preparation of periodic financial statements, year-end close activities, and board-level
financial reports under the supervision of senior accountants.
• Assisted in AP invoice processing, matching vendor invoices against POs and delivery notes, and
ensuring timely payment within approved terms.
• Collaborated with project teams to ensure accurate cost capture on EPC contracts and contributed to the
development of standardized accounting processes across projects.
