- Receiving requests from the sites.
- Identify the materials required.
- Ensure availability or lack thereof in the company store.
- Send orders to suppliers of the restrictions on offers appropriate.
- Make sure materials are subject to standards and specifications agreed upon.
- Examination of mechanical devices and equipment with the employee concerned to ensure their validity.
- Send a purchase order for the provider agreed.
- Scrutiny of tender documents
- Evaluating tender documents, drawings, & schedules
- Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers
- Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations.
- Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product.
- Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out Value
engineering studies.
- Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific
