Main activities and responsibilities
•Enhance Operation team skills in operations to minimize escalations, extending skills to new team members, elevating knowledge level in domain to meet future business or market demand
•Responsible for overseeing team of Administrators ensuring maximum availability of computer systems throughout the company, and for the provision of IT system’s services.
•Perform routine audits of systems and OS.
•Ensure services are secure.
•Document system configuration.
•Implement and act in accordance with the organization’s information security policies.
•Execute particular security processes or activities.
•Ensure responsibility is assigned to the individual for actions taken.
•Report security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization.
•Establish proactive operations through analysing and studying the reason that caused a specific failure and recommend future solutions to avoid it from happening again.
•Assist Line Manager in the Design, development, implementation and enforcement of IT Systems policies, processes, procedures and work instructions.
•Maintain the proper relationship with other cross IT functions within the company.
•Monitor Agility’s global System devices through solution tools to maintain 24/7 availability of the systems.
•Coordinate staffing to ensure 24/7 coverage and that all projects are implemented and completed within the framework, quality, scope, time and budget objectives.
•Take ownership for escalated issues, through to resolution.
•Co-lead and manage hardware/software selection, development, implementation, and/or the integration with other existing applications.
•Ensure timely response to work requests which include but are not limited to problem trouble-shooting, root cause analysis, executing scheduled changes, performance analysis, HW/FW maintenance, provide storage etc.
•Gather support requirements from clients, maintain inventory of supported environment and provide weekly reports on work activity.
•Manage systems maintenance and updating as necessary.
•Assure SLA compliance and proper systems operations.
•Ensue appropriate IT systems and documentation are maintained.
Achievements
•Complete the DR Documentation for the services.
•Complete the Hand Over Documentation for All Services in Production
•Creating a Knowledge Library for all MS and 3rd party technologies applied in place.
