Contributed on VISA card project launching in 2021 for the first time in Sudan.
• Managed 24/7 application Support Team to deliver and support IRIS banks switch and VISA integration and other modules and channels (ATM/POS, HSM, mobile banking, Payment gateway …etc.) related to card-based services.
• Led cloud migration project design and implementation for the company hybrid cloud solutions with on-premises and AWS deployment and achieved high rate of services elasticity with significant cost saving on IT budget.
• Designed and delivered high availability architecture (DR) for payment system applications which reduced MTTR to 10 minutes and acted as IT disaster recovery champion.
• Partnered in product acceptance, bug fixes testing and led all production deployment operations after CAB approvals achieved no rollback operation in 2021 and 2022.
• Contributed with the central bank of Sudan to re-launch P2P services with great flow enhancement that significantly reduced the disputes and customer’s complaints.
• Automated application’s administrative tasks which saved 10% of daily tasks and reduced defects caused by human intervention.
• Had responsibility of coaching, evaluating, hiring of staff to achieve departmental and overall business goals within the allocated budget
• Contributed on launching first mobile money services in Sudan and acted as 2nd line support team leader for all services operational support and issues resolution.
• Defined, built and enhanced mobile payment system critical services monitoring and troubleshooting process and procedures led to more than 99% services availability.
• Led junior staff to solve all issues raised by customer in a professional manner and in appropriate time and guarantee the quality of service.
• Negotiated with vendors and customers contracts and SLA creation and revision.
• Worked closely with Development department and applications vendors to enhance the services and solve all issues raised by customers. And applying DevOps and CI/CD to manage test, staging and production environments.
• Developed set of visualized reports on our reporting platform for MTN telecommunication company different OPCOs in Africa based on their business
requirements to monitor and evaluate their network KPIs.
• Responsible for our platform integration with OPCOs OSS nodes for complete ETL process.
• Deployed and maintained the first WiMAX technology services for one the biggest
Sudanese telecommunication company.
• Managed at least one BSS (IN, Charging system and VAS) software product across
3 managed service accounts completely as vendor technical personnel and contact
person.
