Responsible for preparing lab materials, assignments and case studies that bear with real-world cases and last technologies.
Lab responsible for:
1. Integrated Production Systems II lab (Facility planning and design).
The lab focuses on facility design and planning simulation tools and software such as Factory CAD, Factory FLOW and Factory OPT which are part of SIEMENS Technomatics bundle, for students in senior level.
Moreover, demonstrates tutorials on Process Excel and Layout Excel Add-ins.
2. Operations Research and Optimization.
Mainly demonstrate tutorials on optimization software like LINGO and Excel (Excel Solver) add-ins.
3. Computing in Industrial Engineering.
This lab is introducing different tools and software (Arena Simulation, Auto CAD, MS Project, Access and MS Visio) for students in Junior level.
- Control Panels & PLC design and installation.
- Test and carry out inspection for control panels as designed in schematic drawings.
- Handle installation and maintenance for customers including troubleshooting and provide technical support.
- Familiar with Siemens (mainly), Allen Bradley, Schneider hardware components.
Holistic induction in different departments
-90 ECTS Credits. - Maste`s Degree dissertation. (Performance Measurement tool for lean approach) - Program included team-based projects and individual work to apply academic knowledge, concepts and last technologies on real-world cases. In this course almost all aspects related to manufacturing is covered on different levels, the strategic, planning and procedure level. Modules and research areas are: Product Innovation and Design, Production Control and Planning, Supply Chain Management, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Aerospace manufacturing management, Risk management, Knowledge Management and Business Excellence.
