Maintenance and repair of electrical wiring, lighting fixtures and other electrical components;
Installing/wiring Omron, Allen-Bradley, General Electric PLC's systems and panels
Kiln operations, automation, switching and alarm systems installation;
Overhaul, repair, test and install electrical motors and generators;
Maintenance of digital and analogue signal transmission lines;
Maintenance hydraulic and pneumatic control systems;
Installation and Calibration bourdon pressures gauges;
Power controls installation and troubleshooting;
Maintenance of RTDs, VSDs/VFDs and Load cells;
Maintenance of thermocouples;
Performing preventive maintenance services and repairs on 6-kW to 1000-kW generators.
Installation and removal operation of generators from locations to power generation shop.
Troubleshoots and rebuilds engines, alternate current (AC) systems, direct current (DC) systems, electronic control systems and other program logic controls, electrical wiring and accessories.
Responsible for maintaining all type of power generation equipment; FG Wilson, Caterpillar, Volvo, Cummins, SDMO, AKSA, MEPs and other military design generators.
Rebuilding and repairing gas compressors (turbochargers) used for forced-induction of generator engines, head gaskets, seals, water pumps, fuel pumps, torque heads, belts and hoses.
Testing batteries, fuel coolant, and oil; ship oil samples for analysis.
Installing specified new or reconditioned parts, making required adjustments and reassembling complete unit.
Moving materials and equipment to work locations and executes the work.
Transporting and disposing properly hazardous materials to HAZMAT collection point.
Completing records, maintaining tools and equipment, and performing various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
Observing and following all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
Promoting teamwork and actively participates in quality improvement process.
Promoting safety awareness and complying with all applicable safety procedures and regulations.
Performing other duties and activities as directed.
