•Planning and organizing database, Database creation, manage users, password security, privileges & roles, performance tuning, restoration, user creation, script running, patch installation etc.
•Handling the task of managing database structure, storage allocation, database access, roles, users and privileges. Responsible for Upgrade/migrate databases to current release levels
•Accountable for Planning and implementing database Backups and Recovery strategies
•Performing Database RMAN Backup, Hot Backup/Cold Backup on tape devices and Logical backup using multiple streams Export / Import, Database OFA Standards, Importing / Exporting, Patch installs, Version Upgrades, Monitoring and Tuning, Listener TNS-Names Configuration, Names Server maintenance.
•Setting up Standby database’s, implemented/ administered Data Guard for higher availability and Disaster recovery. Used the standby database for reports generating purpose.
•Preparing RCA (Root Cause Analysis for any incidents happened in the application system, that caused severe impact to business/revenue) and implementing CAPA (Corrective Action and Preventive action) to avoid the issues in future/reducing the business downtime (this is being achieved as Incident Management process control)
•Knowledge in release cycle management, configuration management, problem management and change management.
•Implementation & Support to Oracle eBusiness suite 12.1.3, which includes major design topologies such as Shared Appl TOP, DMZ, RAC and ASM.
•Upgrade Oracle eBusiness suite 12.1.3 to 12.2.4, which includes major design topologies such as Shared Appl TOP, DMZ, RAC and ASM.
•Migration of Legacy Customers to Cloud Servers
•JDK/JRE Upgrades to 1.7 for Application Servers and secured with ENHANCED JAR Signing
•IE 10, IE 11 compatibility upgrades as per customer requirement
•EBS DB Upgrade from 11.2.0.3, to 12.1.0.2 includes BUNDLE PATCHING covering CLUSTERWARE.
