As a Managing QS, I was responsible for commercial management of multiple projects from estimating to close out. I successfully protected the commercial interest of the company through proactive policy management. I successfully managed 18 separate projects in 8 years across healthcare, commercial, residential, hotels and high tech facilities.

•Created and expanded P Elliott’s supply chain network Ireland.
•Assisted in estimating and submitting tenders.
•Developed relationships with Design Teams and Clients.
•Managed a department of 15 QS’ of various levels of experience.
•Managed pre-qualifications and responded to commercial tender queries.
•Successfully carried out commercial and QS duties for projects from tendering through to final account stage.
•I had full authority to appoint subcontractors and authorise subcontractor payments.
•I represented the company during pre-contract negotiations and clarification periods.
•I reported to the board of directors.
I successfully managed to double the expected profit on the refurbishment of Pier B Dublin Airport and
successfully assisted in the commercial management of the Zerox development in Dundalk, County Louth.
I successfully drafted and negotiated claims with the client’s PQS on an underground aquatic park in Sydney. I undertook this short-term contract whilst on a working holiday to Australia.
