Develop engineering opportunities for the surface facilities at West Qurna 1 oil field. As team member of
surface technical section, I have been assigned to do surveillance and troubleshooting activities covering
process and instrumentation for the oil & gas, power generating and water treatment facilities at West
Qorna 1 oil field.
Conducting series of intensive training sessions covered various topics of Chemical Process as part of the development and delivery of 3-Year development program for Local High Potential Personnel whose working for Lukoil Mid-East Limited in West Qurna 2.

Managing the Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for the newly installed fuel gas conditioning unit and associated equipment for 15 megawatt power plant for Garraf development facility operation at Garraf Oil Field.
Research and development of a novel oscillatory-Baffled-Microreactor for the production of fine crystals with narrow particle size distribution. Research activity were included:
► Fabrication of micro reactors/crystallizers microfluidics
► Nano particle size evaluation and validation using Dynamic Light Scattering and Scanning Electron Microscopy.
►Engineering computations and CFD simulations using MATLAB and COMSOL Multiphysics.
Apart from the R&D activity, I was responsible as a teaching assistance with 750+ hours for:
► Conducting undergraduate and postgraduate tutorial sessions for engineering subjects such as: Chemical reaction engineering, Fluid mechanics, Particulate technology and multiphysics simulation on heat and mass transfer phenomena with finite element analysis (FEA) using COMSOL Multiphisics.
► Conducting undergraduate and foundation laboratory sessions in the field of Heat and mass transfer, Fluid mechanics, Separation process and chemistry.
Participated in the completion, commissioning, start-up and operation of Al Nasiriya water treatment plant ( A $266 Million Project). This project supplied 10, 000 cubic meter per hour of fresh and drinkable water to five cities in Thi Qar province, southern of Iraq, with estimated population of 500 thousands. In addition, the project includes more than 100km of pipelines, 3 pump stations and five elevated storage tanks.
The main duties I carried out during the commissioning and start-up phase were:
► Commissioning and Start-up of pumps-control, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA and radio telemetry systems.
► Commissioning, starting-up and calibrating of different instrumentations such as: flow and pressure transmitter, static pressure and ultrasonic level transmitters, turbidity meters, Chlorine gas detectors and many other instrumentations and equipments.
► PLC, SCADA and HMI systems programming and debugging.
► Commissioning of booster pump valves, pressure sustaining valves and altitude control valves at the main plant the remote booster pump stations and the elevated water storage tanks.
► Conducted series of training workshops for the end user on the the basics of Programmable Logic Controller and the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC and SCADA systems for the plant.
Successfully managed and complete the chemical cleaning and lube oil flushing for the NGL/LPG facilities for the South Gas State Co. at Khour azubair and Umm Qaser.
Main duties were:
► Developed work procedures and technical execution details with respect to API standard 614 and the technical and safety requirements of the main contractor (KBR) and the client (SGC).
► Acquired and expedited work permits and safety clearances for the daily activities.
A team player in the EPC of Khor Al Zubair Power Plan (2xGE frame 9).
Main duties were
► Assisted in compilation, commissioning and start-up of the water treatment unit of the plant.
► Performed technical procurement for the commissioning and start-up phase from the local markets and suppliers.
► Handled the information technology requirements for the project which includes: networks administration, hardware/software management and IT support officer.
• Managing and operating of nation-wide oil infrastructure security and safety radio communication system.
• Sites survey and evaluation for CIS equipment.
• Installation and maintaining of V-Sat Sys.
• Establishing and managing of Computers networks.
• Software and hardware maintains for more than 40 PC's.
• Installation, operating and maintains of VHF and UHF repeaters to give a national wide coverage areas
• Installation, operating and maintains of VHF and UHF Base station and Mobile station in wide range of Oil's locations to give a national wide coverage areas
. Users support and training.
• Assist site engineering at Iron ore ship un-loaders rehabilitation project, Khur Al-Zubair ports - Basra.
• Site engineer at Al-Najebeia Power station rehabilitation project - Basra.
• Site engineer at cooling towers rehabilitation project for the state company of southern refineries - Basra
