Ascertain that up to date profiles and SOPs are provided to all endorsed service providers
to ensure proper import and export clearance
 Communicate with Customs brokers, provide and review tariff code information and
instructions related to international shipments (inbound and outbound)
 Participate in, develop and conduct training activities for individuals and groups
pertaining to import and export regulations
 Directs company’s overall supply chain operations including purchasing and maintaining
inventory of raw material, selection of vendors/suppliers.
 Analyze post performances in order to forecast raw materials demand as per production
schedules.
 Devise strategic plans for increasing productivity, effectiveness and economy of
operations.
 Evaluation of Vendors performance on quarterly basis with monthly review or as per
contract need for effective procurement of goods or service.
 Ensure that all contracts are negotiated on arm length basis.
 Discuss with other departments to identify operational gaps.
 Developing good relationship with key suppliers to ensure best value for money.
 Waste Management.
