Assist the leadership team to develop, manage and monitor the QHSE performance
of the company.
Monitor and advise on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company
compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements
and good industry practice.
Responsible for Company’s QHSE processes and procedures to ensure the Company
maintains its accreditations (
• Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying
and assisting implementing improvements.
• Conduct QHSE training courses using internal and external resources when required.
• Produce further analysis and reports as may be required by the Directors and
management from time to time.
• Analyses all incidents occurred within operational region of responsibility and
monitors the follow up on suitable corrective actions.
• Sets objectives, targets and improvements for quality, health and safety,
environmental, and organizational performance, in consultation with the Directors,
Plant managers and Maintenance managers, and includes these in the improvement
programmed to support the overall strategic aims and objectives of the organization.
• Manage and improvise Environmental issues related to Government compliance and
Project compliance
• Develop and implement OESMP, OHSMP plans
• Compliance with national and international regulations

Implementing safety policies helps employers reduce accident-related costs and prevent losses due to a decline in productivity.  Tasked with implementing safety policies, procedures, and training programs  Direct oversight of auditing, reporting, safety inspections, administering safety policies, and implementing safety-training programs  Work with Corporate and local management on accident/incident investigations and reports of employee injuries and vehicular incidents  Responsible for proper care and maintenance of all facilities and equipment. Any and all areas used by employees, customers, vendors, must be free of hazards at all times. Also, all equipment such as fire extinguishers, hard hats, gloves, and ergonomic devices must be available and in good working condition  Responsible to conduct warehouse and production area safety audits and implementing appropriate changes to correct or comply with regulations/standards  Designs training for all levels of employees & ensures personnel training and corrective action follow-up are completed.  Develops and implements accident investigation, data analysis, and recurrence prevention programs and procedures.  Carry our Emergency Drills regularly.  Compliance to all standards ISO 14001, Civil defense and municipality requirements.

Carrying out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.  Outlining safe operational procedures, which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.
 Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures related to workplace health and safety are being properly implemented.  Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks.  Responding to employees’ safety concerns as well as conducting necessary safety inspection.  Keeping records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.  Keeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for management.  Safety Equipment and Mechanical Equipment Inspections.  Carrying out inspections for Camp and Warehouse.  Ensure compliance to Permit to work system.  Managing and organizing the safe disposal of hazardous substances.  Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g. Electric hazards, fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.  Induction Trainings.  Fire Drills.  Emergency Response.  Accident/Incident reporting, investigations and preventions.
