The Debt Management Office directly manages the long- and short-term financing of the Government of Sharjah, and it monitors the financial performance and borrowing of all Government-Related Entities (GREs).
I am responsible for the financial risk management work of the DMO, where our objectives are to optimise government liquidity management, to reduce the cost and risk of government borrowing, and to ensure the financial sustainability of GREs.

Responsibilities

Designing, Implementing and managing the Financial Risk Management Framework for GREs, including:
o Coordinating the work of DMO ¡§account managers¡¨ to collect and analyse monthly data for each entity
o Producing quarterly SWOT analyses and risk reports for each entity, with recommendations for action
o Producing summary financial risk reports covering the GRE sector;
