monitoring evaluation assistant manager at PPAF
  • Pakistan - Islamabad
  • My current job since June 2016

I worked as a monitoring evaluation assistant manager for the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF). During that time, I prepared monitoring frameworks, terms of reference for studies, reporting formats, and progress reports for donors, the board of directors, and all external stakeholders. Under different donor funded projects GoP (Interest-Free Loans), KFW, UNHCR, and PPAF using their own funds, I took part in the midterm evaluations, component studies, outcomes learning assessments, and user beneficiary surveys and project closing progress reports preparations. During my employment, I was the focal person for various assessments, studies, and work plans that were successfully completed and created in accordance with their findings.
These assessments, studies, and work plans also included monitoring checklists, tools, performance indicators, and benchmarks to ensure transparency and accountability. Plans for Partner Organization’s capacity building in the area of M&E were developed and implemented by me. During my job I have regularly conducted monitoring visits to observe the program's physical implementation and Prepared reports with action points. I have timely shared M&E findings with other MER unit members, Operations, partners, and other stakeholders. Developed dashboards to present an overall picture of findings and actions taken.
As a member of the quality insurance team, it was my duty to build capacity and ensure that the assigned programme or operation was focused on programme goals, PPAF Core Values, and opportunities for transition and development. I was actively involved to assisting programme units with donor compliance, proposal development, project management, knowledge management, building capacity, and other areas, as well as participating in appropriate coordination.
