• Leads and directs the automation and digital transformation process in MBRHE to ensure the provision of innovative and diverse solutions that will provide high levels of customer service, through managing and supervising packages of programs and portfolios and through adaptation of digital technologies to cover the core business of the organization.
• Works with MBRHE business units to develop a digital transformation strategy, & policies & procedures.
• Planning & managing digital transformation programs, initiatives, and designed customer journeys to achieve business strategic goals and objectives, by leading designated teams and through a well-defined transformation roadmap.
• Adopts & hires latest digital & disruptive technologies like cognitive computing, Blockchain, cloud computing, cyber security, etc. to boost and support business solutions.
• Ensures that the digital transformation impact on the business and staff is well-understood and applied through an effective change management plan.
• Responsible for setting and coordinating the programs' budgeting to ensure the programs benefits are delivered as planned.
**Work & Achievements**
• Headed cost-reduction initiatives, resulting in 15% (AED 700, 000) cost savings through restructuring, consolidating services, infrastructure, & support contracts, along with a technology refresh.
• Repositioned large data center with only 100 days’ notice, which included design/management of build out. The transfer resulted in only 25 hours of interruption to the organization, minimally affecting customer service.
• Achieved 20% annual savings by managing server consolidation including Dell server deployment in conjunction with Citrix and VMware implementation, & Database consolidation.
• Introduced security awareness to MRHE employees by utilizing modern training methods such as E-Learning and team learning.
• Improved support service level by 20% through restructuring and instituting 2 first-line help desk support systems.
• Steered the evaluation and selection of several new technology systems through improved accuracy in budgeting forecasts.
• Implemented the ISMS 27001 whilst developing new benchmarks for quality control and reliability.
• Handled diverse IT projects within stipulated deadlines and budget constraints by acquiring resources, harmonizing team members, third-party contractors and consultants to ensure timely project delivery.
