Manage the warehouse teams, equipments & paper work against the objectives
Set-up the performance objectives & the warehouse goals.
Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external demand.
Plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
Take into account full implications of size, weight, and other factors when allocating warehouse space.
Manage an annual budget or capital investment plan for warehousing functions across the organization.
Develop and/or enforce corporate policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain appropriate and complete documentation regarding regulated products and/or hazardous materials.
Conduct periodic spot-checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment.
Assess the need for, and arrange the purchase of, moving equipment like trailers, forklifts, crash pads, dollies, and so on.
Identify discrepancies between inventory records and take action.
Briefing team leaders on a daily basis.
Prepare, compile, and submit reports on work activities, operations, or work-related accidents.
Mange an engineering warehouse having high value inventory items in controlled manner following the computerized inventory control system (SAP).
Responsible to Organize, Lead, Plan, and Control functions of the Warehouse.
Coordinate with the Drilling Management for day requirement on a regular basis.
Follow-up the transportation to and from the field.
Warehousing: Supervises, plans and co-ordinates the activities in the Materials Operations area.
Supervises and controls the receipt, issue and storage of all spare parts, materials and equipment in the correct quantities. Responsible for close control of SAP system (Materials Management) involving receipt and dispatch of materials from the warehouse.
Ensure documentation for receipt and issues and posting them in the system.
Warehouse data systems: Supervises and maintains close control over the warehouse data systems covering all related transactions, ensuring that all material movements are timely recorded and that it is accurate and in sink with reality.
Having identification knowledge of material and ensure their safe housekeeping.
Material Handling, Ensure all activities concerning movement of hazardous materials are carried out in a safe manner.
Ensures that all materials received are properly inspected prior to acceptance; ensuring that specifications are confirmed with the Materials Standardizes so that all accepted materials are as per contract specifications; .
Ensures that appropriate housekeeping is maintained to safeguard warehouse inventory stocks against any losses or damage;
Carry out periodic physical stock checking independently.
Having effective liaison within Procurement and logistics Department and end users.
Preparing weekly and monthly reports on all materials with stock received and issue with price to the finance Department and logistics
Efficient in performance and control location staff and equipment movement.
Weekly Safety meetings with subordinates, and once a month Departmental Safety meeting.
very good knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain and operational Logistics and Base activities
I have very good experience working with data stream system with material management
"Contractor" (Canadian Nexen Petroleum Yemen - CPF)
Process all materials Reservations, Issue Slips and Return Slips from the SAP system.
Maintain accurate inventory records of all related documentations.
Oversee the compilation of Drilling Materials issues costing reports as required by the Drilling Rig Supervisors.
Ensures all Drilling parts and equipment are stored and issued efficiently.
Promote corporate environmental, health& safety practices.
Keep frequent contacts within the logistics department to verify data on reports and check materials information system.
Performs duties in accordance with established warehousing procedures and specialized Materials Management Systems processes.
Carries out other similar and related duties as required or as directed by the Materials Supervisor.
Responsible for filling all Logistics Department internal documents.
Arrange Shipments packing list for all materials prior of their arrival to CPF in order to simplify the materials receiving process.
Run a thorough check on all materials receiving reports comparing the entries on them to the entries on the purchasing documents to make sure receiving has been done properly.
Carries out other similar & related duties as required by the Buyers.
