Company: Power System Projects (PSP).
One of Elsewedy Cables turnkey subsidiary that provides an EPC solution within the power generation, high voltage substation, power transmission and industrial sector projects.
Job Title: Electrical QA/QC Engineer.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the Company's Quality Policy.
2. Coordinate all inspections, monitor the required tests and record inspections and tests made as per the Contract Plan and Contract Specifications.
3. Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.
4. Supervise effective implementation of all test and inspection schedule and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
5. Assist QA/QC Manager in conducting internal quality audits.
6. Ensure that Non-Conformance Report (NCR) are raised once the activities deviated from the contract Specifications or normal construction industry practices.
7. Compile and maintain records of inspection and testing until end of the contract and all pertinent records for retention on completion of the project.
8. Coordinate for the completion of as-built turnover documentation and turnover dossiers.
9. Coordinate with the commissioning department.
10. Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.
Projects:
1. The Extension of 6th October from 4×150 MW to 8×150 MW Simple Cycle Gas Turbine Power
Plant.
2. El Tebbin Thermal Power Plant 2×235 MW Unit (1) Rehabilitation Super Critical Project.
planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance, responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, repairing machinery and equipment, supervising engineering and technical staff, maintaining manufacturing processes, improving control systems, designing and executing electrical distribution system for accommodation camps.

studying the classical control methods used

overview on electrical panel boards and it's components
i took a general overview on all of the sugar production phases and more concern on the electrical installation and control of process
trained during the project of a hotel building on electrical installation
I've registered for the master of science in electrical power and machines engineering degree. It is expected it ends by 2016.
