Layan general supplies is leading distribution company specialized in
distributing dry, chilled & frozen FMCG goods through different
networks & channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* 3PL contract control & management for dry, chilled & frozen
food warehouses & distribution.
* Restructuring the supply chain and logistics operations through
revising the department structure, establishment of SOPs and
KPIs including warehousing, fleet and distribution management,
order shipping and billing cycle.
* In charge of supply and demand planning including all brands.
* Contributed to the forecasting process in sales & generate the
annual supply chain budget.
* Handled the whole process of order shipping & billing.
* In charge of clearance which involved the clearance of all types
of imported products through sea, land and airfreight shipping
of an average of 200 trucks/containers per month (40ft).
* In charge of regulatory compliance according to JFDA &
governmental regulations.
Exeed Electronics was established in 2008, one of the biggest
manufacturer of electrical and electronic Household appliances in the
middle east with $172 Million initial investment.
Key Responsibilities:
* In charge of all aspects of the supply chain: sourcing, purchasing,
transport, warehousing and distribution.
* Building supply chain & logistics department with full scope and
structure, in addition to manuals and operational SOPs and KPIs.
* Involved in identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce
the overall supply chain cost base.

* Planning of procurement, inventory control, inbound and
outbound logistics and distribution.
* Managing all aspects of clearance operations.
* Revamping the material flow inside 150, 000 m² facility which
reduced the total cost (transportation & damages) by 35%

* Negotiated contracts, policies and deadlines with suppliers and

* Managed the regional distribution network, including
purchasing, order processing, reverse logistics, customer service,
product quality, trade compliance and warehouse management.
* Owned the S&OP process, including demand planning, supply
planning, purchasing and logistics.
* Integrated financial and operation plans with strategic
objectives to deliver improved operational and financial results
to ensure customer satisfaction, profitability and working
capital.
* In charge of the total P&L for South America market.
