JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide project controls management, including baseline schedule development and management, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools.
- Advice and consult on the application of effective planning techniques and controls and ensure that project controls processes are consistently applied across the project.
- Support programme integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices and support the development of integrated master schedules that reflect all interface milestones and multiple contractors’ schedules.
- Monitor and control programme compliance in respect of the projects contractual obligations and ensuring the Project controls team produce weekly / monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting requirements, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Centralized Departments to maximize the potential of the project.
- To assist with dispute resolution and claims planning matters, including construction scheduling, delay and disruption analysis as well as fact-finding to detailed analysis, quantification of delay and damages, economic modeling, and strategy formation.
- Provide leadership, direction, supervision and inspirational management to all team members.
- Support and advise on the definition of Project Controls and Earned Value Management policies, procedures and the standards required to deliver projects.
- Manage BIM 4D simulations for live projects, creation of quantity take-offs models and use of Visual Method Statements to highlight potential risks and review the construction sequences and progress updates.
- Monitoring the setting up and maintaining the project document control system including the setting up of document distribution matrices, ensuring issue of essential documents and Ensure that only legible documents are being used.
- Liaise with Cost Control Department to ensure maximum profitability and provide critical assessment of all budgets, Cash flow, labor productivities and cost projections.

The plot covers approximately 9, 360m2.
The project consists of the following:
• A four levels basement containing parking garage and support services.
• An eight levels Podium (including two mezzanines) containing hotel front-of-house and back-of house spaces including lobbies, restaurants, banquet hall, meeting rooms, pools, spa and health club; residential apartment lobbies.
• A north tower containing approximately 103 luxury serviced apartments, residence club and reserve penthouse.
• A south, L-shaped tower containing approximately 293 hotel keys and 97 serviced apartments both to be operated by the Hotel Operator and 14 luxury serviced apartments.

- Actively lead and contribute to the achievement of the Project through the direct management and implementation of sound business practices across the design, procurement and construction phases.
- Ensure and monitor the project in accordance with regulatory guidelines and standards established by the Employer Qatari Diar.
- Review and update the Project’s Master programs of works (Design, Procurement & Construction Phases).
- Review high-level deliverables on a regular basis and report inconsistencies through to senior management.
