The API system is based on restful web services developed using ASP.NET MVC5 framework.
My daily tasks include
• Project Managing and Developing the below banking software solutions for several business department using different technologies.
o Base24 EPS ATM Monitor System which stores and collects ATM and host processes event messages. The user is provided with the flexibility to dynamically define a set of rules and conditions to identify the criticality of the messages along with the SMS alerts through a desktop user interface. The graphical user interface also shows the status of all the ATMs and the different Base24 EPS interfaces’ processes at runtime.
o Housing Loan Back Office Web Application to create a new housing loan application for clients and process these applications until the generation of the payments’ schedule and official contracts for these clients. The application handles as well, the rescheduling process for the client’s bills and exports them to the core banking application once processed.
o BDL/BCC System Integration Desktop Application to serve as an API for uploading data to BDL Access database and BCC oracle databases.
o HR Appraisal and Bonus Web Application to evaluate employees of the bank and accordingly grant raises and bonuses to the employees by the human resources department.
o Warning Generator Web Application to generate warnings for unpaid bills extracted from the core banking application and prepared as letter form to be sent to clients along with the post office receivable confirmation form.
o Taxes Web Application to prepare tax reports of all the tax operations executed by all the branches to be sent to the Ministry of Finance.
• Administering Oracle, MS SQL and MySQL databases.
• Gathering requirements, dividing task force, setting schedules and time lines.
• Analyzing Core Banking System data and integrating them with third party applications.
• Extracting, Transferring, and Loading data from the core banking database (DB2) to different database platforms.
• Training business users on the newly developed banking applications.
• Developing a full scale real estate solution with web portal and desktop applications to sync/upload between the two. The sync process was unique in that any company that has one of the two products can interact with any other company or freelance broker.
• Developing desktop application using C++.NET Technology.
• Developing Websites using ASP.NET Technology which synchronizes the data available on the desktop’s application database.
• Gathering requirements, dividing task force, setting schedules and time lines.
• Providing onsite demonstrations and support to customers on the features of the application.
• Developing workflow application to manage HR processes for leave requests, certificate forms and other circulating documents using Captaris Workflow and Microsoft .NET Technology, at office and abroad on customer site.
• Providing technical support to customers and partners on workflow solution.
Implementation and maintenance of MOF LAN Components and the design of an Intranet application.
Software used: VB.NET (ASP.NET and MS SQL).
