Provide leadership and ensure efficient and effective management of staff and resources in the Legal department.

•Review and provide legal advice on all documents.

•Review ongoing cases and advice management accordingly.

•Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.

•Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management.

•Provide and interpret legal information, conduct training and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to staff.

•Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.

•Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory and legal requirements.

•Prepares contracts for internal review and approval and ensures compliance with company policies as well as applicable laws or regulations.

•Drives contract lifecycle from drafting through completion of the negotiation process, and/or contract execution.

•Ensuring the contractual obligations are fulfilled.

•Understanding the customer experience, including managing any comments or complaints.

•Provide advice to all the teams on contract terms and legal issues.

Manage, control & maintain IT Annual Maintenance contracts by, reviewing contract terms and conditions to identify and mitigate commercial and legal risks of the contract, ITC obligations and liabilities including payment terms, Contract formulation.

•Maintain, standardize IT assets and resources used in the provisioning of IT services, ensuring compliance with all governance, legal and regulatory requirements.

•Manage and sets up all ITC contracts to ensure that they minimize exposure and meet the needs of the company through cooperating with ITC teams, assessing and discussing previous year agreements and engagements.

•Review contracts prior to its execution to identify areas that require resolution and special attention, by conducting meetings with ITC team & vendors to negotiate the same.

•Assist, evaluate and advise/provide ITC stakeholders with consultancy services on contract terms & condition, payment terms, by analysing and assessing the contracts from legal and financial perspective.

•Ensures that suppliers/vendors are approved in accordance with company procedures and policies and carry out regular evaluation of the vendors to provide feedback on their performance and areas of improvement to ITC stakeholders in order to consider renewing their contracts based on their performance and assessment outcomes.

•Investigates the technical and commercial options for fulfilling the requirements, in order to include other possible sources of supply, and reach an agreement on the preferred options / potential suppliers with the business.

•Assists all IT teams in legal areas of their tasks as needed in order to facilitate ITC teams work via conducting meetings and provide the needed supporting information whenever necessary.

•Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in all legal and contractual matters within ITC by managing incidents and problems, in order to facilitate resolution of issues, promote good working relations and have one source of information.

•Liaise with the concerned Department to ensure Implementation, and dissemination of the company strategy, policies, standards, methods and processes within ITC in order to assist management and concerned Department decision making.
