• Lead Import Department activities by maintaining job entries, invoicing and inventories records.
• Actively involved in day to day operations of Import and export Shipments.
• Negotiating with Local transport companies, to obtain the best competitive rates.
• Coordination with Air lines, Carriers (Container/RORO/Break Bulk) 3 PL providers for multiple Schedules and rates.
• Liaise with all International Agents.
• Customer Services & Support, Manifest file in DPAMAN Software.
• Passing all types of Custom Bill of Entries through E-Mirsals II.
• Participation in all kind Custom Inspection related issues.
• Issuing Delivery Orders for Break Bulk Shipments.
• Operational Activities including arranging cranes, fork lifters, low bed trailers and
Hi-up/Pick-ups for transportation in the United Arab Emirates and the GCC sector.
• Following up all pre-alerts for Import LCL & FCL Shipments, and updating the clients accordingly regarding arrival of the shipments.
• Handling export shipments, Export Sales, Booking, & B/L Drafting.
• Preparing quotations for F.O.B, ex-work, Transshipment & project shipments.
• Inform management and customers of delivery status.
• Updating databases and other reporting tools to maintain visibility of shipment status.
• Responsible for smooth movement of inbound/outbound shipments.
• Manage day-to-day business activities.
• Analyze logistical problems and produce solutions.
