▪Reviews and assesses tender documents and ensures all tender documents are received and correct.
▪Assess the type of tender and closing date of the tender to determine the prioritization of all tenders.
▪Evaluate the tender documents by carefully reading them in conjunction with specifications, the BOQ, and contractual requirements for a complete understanding of the project scope.
▪Reviews tender documents, proposal specifications, and drawings to determine the scope of work and provide a summary of the tender to the business development manager.
▪Identify the subcontractors and suppliers work and lead the team members to prepare Request for Quotation (FRQ) documents.
▪Check and verify the quantity take-off prepared by the junior estimation engineer for tender verification.
▪List the discrepancies in the tender document and prepare a list of deviations and clarifications.
▪Supervise and follow up on the preparation and processing of the subcontracting packages.
▪Prepare the responses to the subcontractors’ and suppliers’ queries.
▪Work with the team members to establish the technical and commercial comparisons for the subcontract works based on the received quotations.
▪Prepare the indirect cost table considering execution, site logistics, unforeseen and existing conditions, and all forecasted constructability issues.
▪Prepare the direct cost after checking all cost estimates for each trade, taking into consideration the project requirements, time, quality, and efficient use of material and labor.
▪Prepares the list of value engineering to minimize the cost without affecting the employer’s perceived quality and performance to be presented to the business development manager.
▪Submits the tender summary report for the project, which includes a summary of all costs, direct and indirect, value engineering and possible perceived reductions, and a summary of potential risks.
▪Submits a complete tender on time.
▪Develop a full understanding of company estimating policies and procedures and company standards, and always comply with these.
▪Review of the tender documents, RFP drawings, and technical scope of work.
▪Determining the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for construction projects.
▪Preparing estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling project work.
▪Managing pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.
▪Preparing estimates to meet project goals, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing the best deals with vendors and subcontractors.
▪Ensuring that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before a bid deadline.
▪Keeping track of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques.
▪Collaborating with other teams, conducting site visits, and providing other services, like bid deliveries, when required.
▪Advising the execution team on all important contractual obligations and critical milestones.
▪Prepare a monthly project status report for management review.
▪Assisted the maintenance team in planning and undertaking scheduled preventive maintenance-PPM.
▪Perform quality inspection walk-throughs and identify the required maintenance.
▪Conducted scheduled maintenance of mill rollers, spinning wheels, and centrifugal pumps by ensuring minimal time and manhour’s loss.
▪Preparing a breakdown report for root cause analysis for management review.
▪Assessing the need for critical inventory of spare parts with the collaboration of operators
