▪ Assess and recommends ICT infrastructure required to deliver e-learning system and follows-up uploading, launching, and troubleshooting the implementation of e-learning system at the levels of the Education Department -HQ (A) and UNRWA Fields (schools, VTCs and ESFs); and evaluates, recommends and integrates up-to-date e-learning solutions.
▪ Manages communication of information needed for the optimal use of e-learning system and assists in creating, administering, analyzing and reporting on end-user progress.
▪ Assess and recommends purchase of ICT courseware packages and e-learning tools, and undertakes searches on ICT and computer-based training (CBT) products and services.
▪ Participates in the development, monitoring and evaluation of the Education Department’s ICT standards and strategies; recommends policies for the effective use of ICT facilities at Education Department - HQ (A) and at UNRWA Fields.
▪ Advises on and provides technical support regarding the implementation of ICT initiatives and the development of information systems at the Education Department - HQ (A) and Fields’ level including Cisco, ICDL, OpenOffice, Thinkquest, XO laptop, etc.
▪ Participates in developing and implementing ICT staff capacity building plans and in conducting ICT training needs and assessments as well as train-of-trainers workshops at Education Department - HQ (A) and at UNRWA Fields (schools, VTCs and ESFs).
▪ Advises on and recommends software and hardware standards for ICT requirements (major and minor equipments) for classrooms, laboratories and workshops at Fields (schools, VTCs and ESFs) in coordination with ISD at HQ (A).
▪ Collaborates with concerned staff at the Education Department and ISD at HQ (A) to develop the ED Intranet and strengthen ED presence in UNRWA Website
Provides technical supervision and support to computer instructors and senior instructors at all UNRWA Vocational Training Colleges (VTCs) in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, West Bank and Gaza, and ensures that the implementation of training is in accordance with the approved plan standards.
Identifies professional and technical training needs for computer staff, trains, guides and supervises computer instructors all UNRWA Vocational Training Colleges and evaluates the training outcomes.
Monitors and evaluates the educational and training processes to ensure the achievement of the educational training objectives.
Introduces, develops, revises and updates computer study programs, curricula, syllabi and instructional materials (manuals, schemes of work, case studies, and assignments). Develop lists of computer requirements for classrooms, computer laboratories and workshops, regarding major and minor equipment, as well as consumable supplies, prepares plans to establish new computer workshops and laboratories to develop, redesign, expand and update the already existing computer workshops and laboratories.
Develops computer training materials for the in-service training in coordination with the other divisions in the department of education at Headquarters, Amman,
Conducts market surveys, feasibility and follow up studies to assess and evaluate effectiveness of the TVET program and to identify needs and future computer projections for the demands of industry.
Participates in the recruitment process of the computer technical staff at UNRWA Vocational Training Colleges (VTCs) and schools,
Coorindates with the School Development Division at UNRWA - Headquarters (Amman) to perform the following duties :
- Improving the curricula and methods of teaching computer science in Agency schools and producing teaching materials and teacher guidesto
- Participating in organization, conduct and evaluation of in-service training courses, seminars, practical visits.
Coducts periodic end-user computer training analysis and identifies end-user training needs.
Plans, supervise and develops the end-user computer training programs at Headquarters (Amman) and coordinates, with Field Information Systems Officers, end-user training programs at field locations (Jordan, Gaza, West Bank, Syria, and Lebanon).
Develops end-user training materials with respect to PC desktop standard software packages and these materials are now being used as end-user training references at Headquarter (Amman) and UNRWA fields (Jordan, Gaza, West Bank, Syria, and Lebanon).

Conducts formal training on PC desktop standard software packeges at Headquarters (Amman) and UNRWA fields.
Provides post-training end-user assistance, follow-up and support .
Develops small end-user applications including design, implementation, testing and documentation.
Assists in the design, preparation and delivery of specialized training material for specialized software applications and systems.
Teaching/training students in ATC and ESF (Education Science Faculty - a university college) on the different computer subjects such as (Introduction to Computer, Operating System, Algorithms, Visual Basic, Database, MS Access, Advanced & Core ICDL, Computer Networks, System Analysis, Computer Security).
Organizing, developing and co-ordinating the teaching of computer with subjects taught by other instructors.
Ensuring the proper implementation of computer syllabi and the evaluation of their effectiveness under the direction of supervisors concerned.
Participating in co-curricular activities in the Center and in different summer courses when required.
Supervising/Conducting different training on core ICDL modules.
Supervising/Conducting different training on Advanced ICDL modules.
Supervising different ICDL testing sessions and correcting all ICDL exams.
Working as a temporary School Supervisor (Computer Science) in the Education Development Center (EDC-UNRWA) interested in:
Selecting, training and supervising computer science teachers at UNRWA schools in Jordan Field.
Chairman of the Field Computer Subject Committee.
Participating in the organization, conduct and evaluation of in-service training courses, seminars, practical teaching visits and summer courses
