Reports to Service Delivery Director.
• Lead a team of 35+ members in running and managing R&D Platforms to provide a mature,
streamlined IT capabilities while leveraging the best practices of the domains/services.
• Complete governance across all areas of service delivery including quality management, incident
and change management, continual service improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Work with the key stakeholders to understand the business strategy and to ensure that the
platform services are in line with business needs and the expected benefits are realized.
• Work with the key stakeholders to establish a short term and long term roadmap for the platform
and become accountable for delivering roadmap projects.
• Accountable for platform financials management including budgeting, forecasting and invoicing.
• Influence the investment plan for future development via an appropriate platform governance
model.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement through adoption and application of best practices.
• Ensure platform teams (internal and external) work within a context of a common process
framework.
Achievements:
• Changed the team image resulting in positioning ourselves as the technology arm instead of being
cornered in the standard support only.
• Secured three years projects roadmap for the platform signed off by executive stakeholders which
led to increasing the platform revenue by 70% ~ 90% yearly.
• Increased the delivery rate of changes we deliver from 11 change to 30+ change per year.
• Optimized support processes resulting on 100% SLA compliance.
Reports to Digital Services General Manager.
• Open-Source E-Solutions unit head defining and achieving its business objectives, strategy and
revenue targets.
• Communicates directly with C-level and board of directors the team updates, execution and
results for every project in my territory.
• Align with sales/presales teams on pipeline management within managed accounts.
• Manage and control the unit budget and expenses to ensure its profitability.
• Manage and monitor the R&D roadmap execution.
• Lead the team to deliver successful projects maintaining high customer satisfaction, efficient
financial metrics and high product quality.
• Manage team headcounts and staffing plan.
Achievements:
• Transformed the unit from being a technical focus unit to be a delivery unit with revenue targets.
• Educated the sales and pre sales teams about our offerings and products.
• Increased the OSS unit revenue share by 75% across the year.
• Exposed the team to new regions and domains winning projects in UAE, KSA, Egypt and
Switzerland.
Reports to Digital Services General Manager.
• Manage multiple project schedules, project financial reports, team evaluation, coaching and
mentoring, training and performance.
• Conduct and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, product reviews,
sprint retrospective, etc.) to ensure that team(s) are meeting sprint goals and milestones.
• Ensure timely delivery of software with a high level of quality in an agile environment.
• Maintain clear and consistent channels of communication with the managers, teams and
stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication of statuses and any issues that may
be affecting teams delivery.
• Research, design, implement innovative software solutions and deliver projects on time with the
team members and to specification with high level of quality.
• Communicate, track and monitor development activities to make sure that project is delivered on
time with high quality.
• Conduct Requirements review, code review for developers and create high and low level design
for the application architecture.
• Fully resolve technical issues including performance and functionality issues.
• Deploy the application on the customer side, and conduct training on the application to the
customer and prepare recorded or documented tutorials for it.
• Coordinate with other teams (QC, QA, Graphics, and Data Center) to resolve issues and integrate
enhancements as needed.
