PROJECT SCOPE: Execution, Completion and Maintenance of MASAR 1 Buildings; including 04 nos. High Rise Buildings (4 & 5 star Hotels for Pilgrims), 01 no. Retail Building and a BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) terminal.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1) Proactive approach for effective implementation of quality management procedures and guidelines.
2) Pre-construction meeting has been conducted before start an activity.
3) Report any non-conformity through a Non Conformance Report (NCR) and issue Site Observation Reports (SOR) on quality observations.
4) Efficiently and timely closure of NCR/SORs issued internally and externally.
5) Closely monitor construction works to ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures.
6) All the inspection activities are being performed as per approved ITP.
7) Third party carrying out inspections and tests in line with the project requirements and test reports
are available.
8) Inspection & testing equipment are calibrated and valid certificates are available.
9) Quality control related records are maintained and distributed.
10) Logs for quality documents i.e. inspections, submittals, calibration reports etc. are available and maintained up to dated.
11) Preparation of quality related documents like; ITPs, MIR, WIR, Inspection checklists and Weekly/Monthly Quality Performance Report/KPI etc.
PROJECT SCOPE: During my tenure at AL Latifia, I gained extensive experience overseeing a diverse range of construction projects, including residential villas, apartment buildings, multistorey parking, high-rise buildings, and fit-out works. This exposure has significantly enhanced my skill set and equipped me with the ability to manage and resolve challenges encountered on site.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1) Drafts the quality plans for the project.
2) Preparation of Method statements, Inspection and Test Plan, Inspection Checklist;
3) Preparation of Material Inspection Requests and Work Inspection Requests;
4)Preparation of Pre-Activity Training Plan;
5)Preparation of Inspections Look Ahead Plan
6)Preparation of Weekly/Monthly Quality Performance Report/KPI;
7) Review the Supplier’s Prequalification and Material Technical Submittals to ensure conformance with project specifications.
8) Inspect Structural, Civil and Architectural works to ensure conformance with approved method statement and relevant shop drawings.
9) Inspect newly delivered materials for defects and deviations from approved material submittal and project specifications.
10) Witness, but not limited to, the following third-party testing as stipulated in the project specifications.
Concrete Related - Fresh Concrete Tests (Temperature, Slump, Air Content), Compressive strength of concrete cylinders, Durability Tests, Chemical Tests, Setting Time, Bleeding Test, Uniformity Test and RAW Materials Tests (Cement, Aggregates, Water, Admixtures)
Reinforcement Steel Related - Mechanical and Chemical Test, Bend and Rebend Test etc.
Soil Related - Soil Classification, Atterberg Limits Test, CBR Test, Sieve Analysis, Proctor Density Test, Field Density Test etc.
Asphalt Related- Bitumen Content and Gradation Test, Marshall Stability Test, Specific Gravity Test, Coating and Stripping Test and relevant Aggregate Tests.
I conducted an advanced research study focused on the integration of carbon nanotubes to augment the properties of bitumen.
