Organize and co-ordinate the technical aspects of the Quality Management and Improvement Program- Assume responsibility for optimum co-ordination of the various QM/QI components hospital-wide - Participate in designated Quality committees conducting quality management and improvement activities - Review data analysis on regular basis.

planning, organizing, directing & controlling all functions of the dept. - develop departmental goals, objectives, policies, procedures & standards performance, Operating the dept. within budget guidelines, making studies for the costs and revenues for some medical procedures Collecting & preparing health care statistics as required and ICD-CM-9 & ICD-O abstracting - Assist department/committees/teams with required QM/QI activities, as assigned. - Participate in quality meetings, as requested - Collect data for designated monitors- Collect and perform analysis of collected Incidents reports
