Responsibilities for Network:
Configure Cisco Switches (3650, 2960, 3850, and 6500). Configuring VLAN for Switches like Cisco 3650/3850/2960, Assigning VLAN port for hosts, enabling VTP, configuring inter VLAN network with Cisco Catalyst 6500. Configuring EIGRP. Configuring HSRP for 6500 series switches. Configuring network issues for end users. Monitoring WAN link parameters; such as Router Interface status, Interface I/O traffic, Link reliability, & logs of routers like Cisco 7200 series. Analyzed LAN to determine what were the major problems and improvements needed to be made to the network infrastructure and documentation. Responsibilities included LAN/WAN daily operations Router & switch configurations/Access lists - maintained router and switch configurations. Updated and changed configurations depending on corporate requirements.
Documentation - insured current documentation is kept on LAN/WAN configurations and point-to-point circuits, along with circuit IDs. Visio Drawings - drawing and updating for reference use continuously. LAN/WAN monitoring / Vendor Coordination Creating spreadsheets for all outages, giving start and end times, their duration and their root cause. Documentation of all the work done using Visio, Excel and MS word. Voice Configuring IP phones. Configuring voice mail for IP phones. Troubleshooting issues related to IP phones.
Infra Support: Install and configure computer hardware and software systems Organized, scheduled and performed equipment maintenance routines and operational tests. Maintained an inventory of all incoming and outgoing equipment. Initiated and updated trouble tickets, created and communicated scheduled maintenance alerts and service interruption notifications. Prepared thorough checklists, reports, and Visio drawings, documenting circuit and network equipment, capabilities, and faults after each site survey. Customized existing checklist and report templates, which led to more accurate and efficient surveys and documentation.
