Supervise Carryout inspection as per ITP.
Monitor and witness the testing related to E/I work.
Prepare inspection reports/records and compile it as per final documentation requirement.
Witness testing as per contract requirement for completed E/I works.
Report any non-conformity by issuing NCR.
Carryout surveillance at site to monitor works compliance to quality requirement.
Assist in punch killing and perform line walk during ITR endorsement.
Supervise construction and coordinate sub-contractor’s work at site to maximize the effectiveness of construction delivery to time, budget and quality objectives.
Monitor and review construction related documentation to support timely construction installation and completion.
Monitor, progress and review construction installation and completions by the EPC Contractor at site.
Liaise with the EPC Contractor as directed.
Ensure assigned work is managed and delivered to KNPC satisfaction.
Enhance and demonstrate commitment to raising HSE standards and proposing new initiatives or improvements.
Monitor and review construction related documentation originated by the EPC Contractor.
Review project studies and proposals for constructability and or construction hazard identification.
Monitor and review the EPC Contractor’s and their Sub-contractors construction activities including resourcing thereof.
Assist in the resolution of technical queries arising at site and assist in the resolution of field construction queries interfacing with engineering and completions.
Review and approval of sub-contractor’s method statements.
Review “as-built” drawings.
Participate in meetings as required.
Monitor, appraise and report to KNPC on quality and safety construction performed by the EPC Contractor and their
Sub-Contractors /Vendors.
Responsible for construction supervision of 10KV Vacuum Circuit Breaker, 10KV/415V Step down Transformer, 415V AC Main LV Switchboard, Distribution Boards, UCP& PMS/CDAS, Lighting and small power systems, HVAC Equipment, ICSS Cabinets, F&G system equipment, Telecoms cabinets & devise including cable tray installation, cable laying, glanding and termination works in Brownfield
Responsible for Construction of 35KV Substation LER comprising of two 35/10KV, 6MVA, four 6.6KV/415V, 2MVA Transformers, 6.6KV and 10KV soft starter panels, LV Panels, IRP UPS control panels & installation of Battery with electrolyte field work in CPF & Inlet facilities, installation of lighting DB, JB & MOV panels, Heat tracing and Cathodic protection and Installation of HV, MV & LV Switchboard & motors, fin fan cable termination & Hi-pot test cable laying.
Monitor work force progress provide technical input to facilitate and assist Sub-contractor to safely work. Prepare three week forecast for submission to the planning department for review & to draw up the final execution plan for Electrical Department. Initial project meeting with the management & Superintendent to ensure the entire requirement.
Preparation of materials as per site requirement serves as day-to-day interface with contractor craft labor providing a focus on Safety and Quality. Ensure that procedures and processes are understood and followed by the Construction personnel.
Monitor and ensure compliance with requirement of project HSE & ensure compliance with Company & Contractor’s HSE Plans & procedures.
Interface with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues/progress. Monitor Work progress as relative to schedule. Verify arrival of procured equipments, Implement field surveillance plans, assist with incident response case management and change process.
Ensure Contractor on site planning activities is appropriate to meet objectives, provide safety monitoring Leadership/coaching as well as participate in safety meeting. Participate, coach & assist Contractor personnel in effective pre-task planning measures in JSA’s and Toolbox meetings.
Participate in on site Risk assessments and JHA development. Assist in implementation of Emergency response & Co-ordinate mobilization of Vendors & Subcontractor on site.
Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Elumalai Polytechnic, State Board of Technical Education & Training, Villupuram. Tamil Nadu / Scored 79.95%
