• Prepare and submit the group’s monthly financial results with Budget variance analysis, Reasons for variance, quarterly rolling forecasts and complete the reporting requirements to the parent company
• Preperation of Annual budget for Middle East companies & Act as a Budget coordinator for the Group to gather details from other regions (KSA, India etc) and compile the Budget for Group.
• Liaison with bank for Fixed Deposits, call deposits like DCIs, Negotiate for rates, Trade Financing services such as preparation of documents for LC (mostly Inward) and submit to bank, Apply for bank guarantees.
• Perform detailed account analysis and corporate month-end processing and reporting.
• Dealing with Clients across the world such as Singapore, China, Amsterderm, USA, Kenya, Japan, GCC countries, India, Srilanka, Pakistan, Mauritius etc. with effective communication. Attending to matters like approving the payment terms, Letter of Credit documentation, POs approval etc.,
• Maintain the General Ledger, ensuring compliance with Standards.
• Review the monthly Business Activity statements and review all monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor stock levels and perform inventory count (periodically) and reconciliations.
• Supervise the Annual audits and prepare the schedules supporting to all Balance sheet items.
• Review and make decisions on credit limits of new and existing customers.
• Review and authorise the weekly cash forecast and accounts payables.
• Laise with corporate office and local brokers for company insurance policies such as Group Medical, Life & Office secure. Review the other insurances such as Vehicle & Marine etc periodically and finalise the quote.
• Improve existing processes and streamline workflows
• Review of Indian Accountng books, entries and preparation of Financial statements for Indian subsidiaries.
• Supervise the statutory audits of Indian Entities and liaise with Auditors and staffs to file the annual returns on time.
• Review and approve the payroll on a monthly basis. Final settlement calculations review, approvals in compliance with UAE Labour Law.
• Dashboard reporting (Group level) to shareholders as and when required with Budget comparisions.
• Monitoring Inter company transactions and have control on transfer pricing as per the region.
• Preperation of Group consolidated unaudited financial statements to facilitate the Auditors to complete the Audit. This includes the compilation of all subsidiaries FS, Elimination of related party transactions, Foreigh currency translation gain/loss computation for India/Saudi subsidiaries, Goodwill/R&D Impairment workings,
• Attending meetings as per the requirement from Management and represent myself on behalf of the company.
