Main duties
• Head of Science department.
• Certified Teacher Trainer and Mentor (planning, directing, and coordinating in-service training programs, teacher supervision, classroom visits and observations, creating and supervising remedial plans for teachers with low achieving students)
• Leader of various school planning teams (strategic plans, Key Performance Indicators, School Improvement Plans, etc.)
• Supervise teachers' aides and student teachers.
• Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
• Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops
• Facilitates home-school communication by such means as holding conferences, telephoning, and sending written communications.
• Works cooperatively with school administrators, special support personnel, colleagues, and parents.
• Take the initiative for arranging meetings with teachers for workshops, discussion groups, etc.
• Organize and design the Science professional development programs.
• Raising standards and improving examination results.
• Making a significant contribution to the development and implementation of school policies that create a positive learning culture.
• The development of the subject, both its long term planning and effective day-to-day teaching.

• Certified Teacher Trainer and Mentor (planning, directing, and coordinating in-service training programs, teacher supervision, classroom visits and observations, creating and supervising remedial plans for teachers with low achieving students)

• Teaching elementary level students (grade 1 up to 6)
• Supervise teachers' aides and student teachers.
• Prepare courses for presentation to students according to approved curriculum.
• Teach students using a systematic plan of lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trips.
• Lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development and their school readiness.
• Assign and correct homework.
• Prepare, administer and correct tests.
• Evaluate the progress of students and discuss results with students, parents and school officials.
• Identify children's individual learning needs.
• Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
• Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and teacher training workshops.
• Organize and design the Science professional development programs.
