As a Principal Development Lead I was responsible for the development teams that looked after the Supply chain and Operations areas of the business. I lead and managed full life cycle of projects within these areas and acted as an internal consultant to other teams within the organization. I also liaised with external contacts / organizations in relation to integration, acquiring of software and participated in other technical programs (Beta, TAP etc.). My other responsibilities included maintaining different Dynamics AX installations and environments. I also performed the role of proxy DBA.
I was also actively involved in the talent acquisition process, performing candidate resume reviews and developer interviews.

As a Principal ERP Developer, I'm responsible for the design and development of new features/customisations/enhancements/integrations in Dynamics AX and the underlying architecture. I also serve as a resource and mentor for other team members and are involved in making tactical decisions and determining strategic direction of IT/business processes of the company.

Upgrade of Dynamics AX from 2009 to 2012
Working as a member of the team responsible for Analysis, design, development/enhancement and administration of Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation

Working as a member of the team responsible for development and enhancement of various database systems currently deployed through out the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Major work includes:
• Developed criminal system database to help decision-making.
• Enhancement of existing database system at the Forensic Science Lab.
• Developed Human Resource System for various directorates of the Ministry.
• Developed custom controls for use in Forms 6i using Visual C++.
Worked as a member of the team responsible for development and enhancement of Nero BackItUp.
Major work includes:
• Updated Zlib compression library to support compression of Unicode files
• Updated Zlib to provide In-Memory compression of larger files for directly burning on CD
• Added CD-erasing option to Nero BackItUp
Cerebrus Solutions Ltd outsources Protel Networks for development of telecommunications products for its various clients worldwide. Cerebrus provides a fraud management platform which can be tailored to the specific needs of any carrier in the market, from start-up competitive local exchange carriers to the largest IP-based 2.5G/3G mobile operator handling hundreds of millions or more chargeable calls and data transactions every day.

Worked as a member of the team responsible for development and enhancement of the Fraud solution for the Telecom industry.

StenoCAT32 for Windows is a Computer Aided Transcription tool, which helps Judges, Court Reporters, Attorneys and other related people in recording and processing of court proceedings. This tool integrates the features of word-processing, real time capturing and translation of encoded information from Steno Writer, document proofing, indexing, spell checking, macro editing etc. The tool was developed using Visual C++. StenoCAT32 is the product of Gigatron Software Corporation (GSC), California. Allied Software Corporation is the subsidiary of GSC.

Responsibilities:
Worked as a member of the team responsible for fixing existing bugs and implementing new features according to new requirements.
Responsibilities included the following modules.
• Export of the StenoCAT32 transcript to the older versions.
• Import of the StenoCAT32 transcript from older versions.
• Export of the StenoCAT32 transcript to the RTF format.
• Importing a transcript from RTF to StenoCAT32.
• Export of StenoCAT32 transcript to simple text.
• Export of StenoCAT32 dictionary to older versions and also in RTF format.
• Importing StenoCAT32 dictionary from RTF and older versions.
• Improvement of Condensed and Normal Printing.
• Number conversion module which can convert any given number regardless it is in digits or words into Digits, Words, Social Security Number, Phone, Date, Time and Zip code.
Project was aimed at development of software that automated the Black box testing process of StenoCAT 32. A number of test cases and test scripts were written using Microsoft’s Visual Test 4 and Rational Visual Test 6.0. The front end of the software was built using Microsoft’s Visual C++ 6.0.
