HR Generalist

In this role I got engaged in different areas of HR, from recruitment, selection, then in charge
of Qatarization, and now taking care of employee relation and personnel services.
Handling the employee relation role; personnel services, assists employees in their daily HR requests,
process leave requests, letters, new hire agreement and termination.
Maintain a general good relation with the employees
- In charge of preparing all related paper work, draft offer, employment agreement, on boarding for all new hires.
- Handle the Termination of employment contracts and process all exit procedure.|

- In charge of the Qatari Pension reports, maintain, and process the monthly payment reports.
- Assist in preparing slides for Quarterly Qatarization Committee.
- PeopleSoft data base - associate administrator- HR data base.
- Recruitment and selection for Qatari and non Qatari hires; technical and non technical.
- Working with recruitment agents to assist the different company areas to fill their man power needs.
- Look over all the personnel files & provide support as and when required.
- Assists HR manager and head of recruitment to identify new job opportunities for Qatari graduates.
- Assists head of recruitment by handling some of his duties while on leave.
Work Assignment: (April 2012- July 2012) Tatweer Petroleum -
Kingdom of Bahrain.
I was sent to Bahrain to assist our joint Venture Tatweer Petroleum in their Job description
project, the goal was to unify all the templates and standardize the JD in all departments.
Documentation Administrator
- Previous role - (July 2005 - to Sept 2008)
During this period I managed to rise the quality and quantity of the work we provide
significantly, as well as earning the trust of management.
- In charge of all company's related matters in Immigrations, visas, and labor department requests.
- I started as individual contributor, later on I was given the opportunity to lead the administration
area of my team.
- We managed to shift a big percent of our daily paper work into electronic copy which saved us
time as well as saving unnecessary paper, I addition to improve the output quality.
- We have created an electronic file for each employee that contains copy of his/her important
documents as well as the history.
Other Activities with Oxy:
- I have suggested that Oxy brochures should look different and unique, therefore I took part in
taking the shooting on-shore and offshore. In addition to the photos have been used in the new
brochures, there are several photos also has been chosen in the Annual corporate report and
other publications.
- Used to be a team member in the company's events committee that facilitate and plan the
company's event; fun day, Gala Dinner and other events.
