- To develop and maintain good relations with all corporations and service provides with the hospital to ensure their continuous support.
- To develop and establish new Middle East clientele and business contacts.
- To initiate discussions and pro actively identify solutions on marketing issues and manage internal and external customer relationship.
- To facilitate the application of middle eastern corporations and service providers like in-surance companies, managed care companies and third party administrators (local and foreign) for corporate and credit facilities according to the hospital’s established policy.
- To handle corporate complaints and to communicate with the relevant departments or consultants for settlement and to inform the corporations and the marketing director on the outcome.
- To organize and coordinate any off-site health talk involving the hospital’s consultants at the corporations’ premises for their staff, agents and clients.
- Translation of correspondence from Arabic to English and from English to Arabic;
- Inform the Ambassador, Deputy Head of Mission and other staff members on the media landscape in/on Yemen and keep this information up to date and accessible;
- Verbally inform the Ambassador and/or Deputy Head of Mission immediately on any developments which would require urgent attention;
- Assist staff in building and maintaining a contact network of opinion leaders, journalists, party leaders, etc.
- Provide Interpretation at large conferences and formal meetings; business functions such as smaller meetings, exhibitions, and events launches.
- Prepare and translate (in Arabic and/or English) documents.
- Act as an interpreter in the official events for USAID officials.
- Act as an interpreter for the UNDP elections specialist at the UNDP meetings and government of Yemen officials.
- Assist in the preparations of the workshop agenda and attend meetings when invited.
- Co-facilitate workshops that involving a selected number of civil society organizations and a selected number of youth activists from different political orientations.
- Assist in compiling the product of workshops, and in compiling the reports and drafting workshops recommendations and future steps based on the findings of the meetings.
- Translate, comprehend, and prepare various kinds of communication information such as: correspondence, reports, articles, spreadsheets, educational forms and data.
- Contact with the local and international reporters
- Supervise the paper website and the social pages.
- Monitor the media and provided reports on media coverage of the various activities of the Newspaper.
- Prepare and distribute to media communiqués, press releases and other communication products on WHO response to various emergencies and other activities;
- Act as an interpreter at the meetings and official events if needed.
- Compile and maintain a contact list of reporters and media outlets in the country, including specialized reporters or editors for daily and weekly Newspapers, radio networks and news programs, television networks and news programs, and news and specialized magazines;
Created lesson plans to teach non-native speakers to read, write and speak English.
- Provide simultaneous/consecutive interpretation from Arabic to English and English to Arabic for all Land equity activities, meetings and workshops including the course of discussions between Land equity stakeholders and counterparts in Yemeni Government.
Translate drafts, recommendations, strategic plans and findings proposed by land equity specialists.
