* Work with clients to assess their needs and translate them into designs, equipment, or new systems. From the initial concept stage through to completion, they manage project timelines and oversee all developments.
* Coordination with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and suppliers & Review of A/E contractor's design submittals, specifications, technical reports, and calculations, and coordinate work of other disciplines and departments.
* Perform space planning, Mechanical room sizing and have knowledge of Civil defense, design complete system air side, waterside, and DX-system for commercial projects.
* Coordinate with other disciplines to meet the mechanical engineering design requirements.
* Performs field inspection and provides field support, as necessary during construction phases.
* Provide response and technical solutions to RFI raised by Contractors.
* Site inspection for HVAC, Fire Fighting & Plumbing as per the Approved Shop Drawings. Writing reports and documentation & providing technical advice
* Weekly Meetings with Client Engineers /Contractors, Preparation of Daily activity reports, Weekly Reports, and Working on the design changes as required by the Client.
* QA / QC For the installed Mechanical Items at the Site.
Review and evaluate technical submittals submitted by the contractor & subcontractor according to required project standards
• Involved in Design Calculations and preparation of Drawings & Materials submittal Schedules.
• Efficiently handled Draughtsman in preparation of Electro-Mechanical Coordination Drawings, Individual Shop drawings of mechanical services as per application of Codes like NFPA, NPC, IPC, ASHRAE, etc
• Involved in MEP Builders work (Openings for Electrical & Mechanical Service’s through structural membranes in Structural drawings) from Electro-mechanical co-ordination drawings.
.• Responsible for the preparation of Material Submittals & submission of same to consultant for approval.
