• Scheduling shipments through freight carriers or via ocean freight or air freight depending on the item’s destination
• Coordinating with customs agents to ensure that all documentation is in order prior to shipment.
• Communicating with clients on shipping status and resolving any issues that may arise during shipping.
Evaluate and process and import documents for various accounts for ABI system and obtain all custom releases and invoices for all import accounts.
• Administer delivery of all cargo and process all custom releases and monitor all receivables and ensure work within required timeframe and assist supervisors to resolve all transaction issues.
•Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre- authorized
limit as inventory dwindles.
• Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.
• Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager. • Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
