 Process plant troubleshooting and identification of deviations from normal parameters.
 Performance monitoring of Critical Machineries like Chillers, compressors, heat exchangers etc.
 Developing process specs for equipment like pumps, vessels, scrubbers.
 Participation in PHA of plant and closing out the recommendations
 Involved in commissioning of Liquid N2 Vaporizer (using steam as heating fluid) for quick purging of process equipments like Cracking Furnace tubes and Distillation columns.
 Process plant internal inspections for equipment like filters, incineration systems, distillation columns, cracking furnaces, packed columns and shell and tube heat exchangers.

 Attending pre bit meetings and site visits for ITB clarifications.
 Identify and resolve discrepancies and divergences from original proposal through the instigation of technical queries to projects/client.
 Estimation of Technical Proposal.
 Preparation of design and equipment calculations for identification and verification of equipment parameters including calculations for valve sizes, pumps, vessels, safety valves, control valves, line sizing. Prepare sizing calculations, cause-and-effect charts, Heat and Mass balance calculations and shutdown logic for completion of P&ID’s.
 Preparing conceptual design for new facilities and/or modifications for existing ones.
 Developing P&IDs & Shutdown Schedules for Slug catcher/Blowcase, Screw Compressor Skids, and Wellhead controls installations.
 Perform all safety related process calculations such as safety relief, modeling the flare header network on Flarenet.
 Participation in detailed technical evaluations and/or HAZID/HAZOP/REVALIDATION HAZOPS, Close out action items related to process design and updates the action in process engineering documents.
 Field Engineering support like Field Visits/consultation for preparing as-built of P&IDs for processing facilities.
 Relief Scenario identification, developing fire zones, calculations of fire relief loads for wetted and non-wetted cases.
 Preparing and updating line index for P&IDs and NPIC’s.

 Developing BFDs/PFDs for Refinery Process Areas consisting of Preheat Exchanger network, New Pre-flash column, Crude Distillation column, Naphtha splitting/stabilizing units.
 Developing UFDs for Refinery offsite & Utility Areas consisting, Cooling/Plant/Fire Water system, Fuel gas system, Fuel oil system, Hot oil system.
 Hydraulic calculations.
 Developing P&IDs for New Naphtha Stabilizer unit and all refinery off-sites and utilities
 Equipment design/rating for fuel gas KO drum, inlet separator, amine absorber O/H scrubber, rich amine flash drum, Lean amine trim cooler, tanks/pumps for fuel oil system and storage tanks for crude oil/petroleum products.
 Technical auditing of LPG recovery, Sweetening & Storage facility from safety point of view for making compliance with engineering codes(API &NFPA) & OGRA rules.
 EDS (Engineering design specs) packages for refinery offsites and utilities e.g. Fuel oil system, fuel gas system.

 As shift engineer monitor the production parameters for smoothly operation and producing on spec Export naphtha, JP-1, JP-8, Turpentine oil, HSD and fuel oil.
 Preparation of chemical injection package specs for Pre-flash O/H system.
 Preparing specs for Multi-bed Pressure sand filter for cooling water system & monitor its installation
