• Full ownership of Dubai Statistics business including decisions on data tools, and metrics for planning and monitoring development programs that affect people’s lives.
• Developed innovate approaches for implementation of surveys and statistical records related to population, workforce, buildings and housing data and statistics based on the latest international statistical practices.
• Preparing population, vital and gender statistics related to the workforce, buildings and housing, analyzing and providing relevant data.
• Issuing an indicator of the annual population growth rate in the emirate, preparing annual estimates and future expectations for the population of the Emirate of Dubai
• Handpicked to implement overall strategies, operational and intra and interdivisional/ departmental policies and procedures regarding the development of projects, operations and activities of the Population Statistics Section.
• Championed and embed the delivery methods for using statistical data, censuses and surveys, including population censuses, housing, establishments, and employment surveys for the progress of the nation and its citizens.
• Providing support and specialized technical advice in analytical studies related to the demographic reality and societal issues of the Emirate to various government departments and institutions and all members of the population.

Responsibilities:
• Providing substantive input in the processing, analyzing and interpreting of data sets relating to population statistics on crude mortality rates, total mortality rates, infant mortality rates, total fertility rates, marriage and divorce trends, age and population pyramid and structure and others.
• Turning raw data into meaningful information through systematic collection/survey/specialized studies and presenting the most scientific methods, simplified methods, and optimal data usage for extraction of results as well as dissemination and evaluation.
• Continuing to produce the best quality data and trusted statistics for buildings/housing, labor statistics and associated characteristics covering employment, unemployment, types of work, earnings, working patterns, and workplace disputes.
• Contributing to quantitative and qualitative research design, including program evaluation, needs assessments, survey methodology and survey operations while measuring achievements against performance indicators, data and statistics, obstacles and difficulties encountered and actions taken.
• Organizing and participating in meetings, committees, and conferences for streamlining statistical studies and surveys, and rigorously implementing the resolutions and recommendations issued by them.
• Taking the well-being of the population seriously and implementing appropriate procedures to modernize the workplace of the future by improving processes related to employment, performance evaluation, training and development, promotions, vacations, etc., and gaining approval from the Director of Department.
• Fostering synergetic relationships between internal and external bodies of organizational units, governmental and semi-governmental bodies and institutions for effectively engaging in statistical work of the population to share experiences and provide them with statistical data.
