Job Role: Inspection of Civil Works and underground infrastructure works.
Responsibility
• Supervise/Inspect the daily execution and progress of works to ensure its compliance with the project specifications/shop drawings/IFC Drawings.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors for the execution of works such as excavation of trenches, installation of storm water/foul sewer/TSE pipelines, construction of manholes, rebar works, concrete works, micro tunneling works, backfilling of laid pipelines and reinstatement of the areas.
• Coordinate with the Contractor’s team for planning, execution and inspection of the works
• Coordinate with CDM Smith team (Surveyors, ARE Utilities, ARE Roads, Landscape Engineer) for planning, execution, inspection and interface of the works.
• Liaise with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations.
• Liaising with stakeholders and their representatives (engineers and surveyors) for construction works.
• Planning the work efficiently in order to meet agreed targets.
• Ensuring the compliance with the ITP, standards and Quality Requirements.
• Review Method Statements and shop drawings
• Setting out of the works in accordance with the drawings and specification.
• Preparation of daily work progress reports.

Responsibility
• Review and evaluate specifications and IFC drawings prior to project preconstruction meeting.
• Conduct site inspections for new projects, including civil work, storm water drainage, foul sewage, concrete structures, paving and utility works; record general and detailed conditions through reports, verify compliance with proposed plans and specifications; identify discrepancies with other project stuff member; research and verify a variety of information.
• Site management and construction of storm water drainage network, foul sewer, ducts for new Ooredoo telecom lines, Qatar National Broadband Network (QNBN) and supervision of MSE walls construction.
• Provide and verify compliance with all preconstruction documents, including shop drawings, method statements and the required permits.
• Prepare plans and construction schedules for the works under my responsibility and report the progress of the works to the Construction Manager.
