Responsible for the process of design for construction for a high rise hotel in Dubai (G+51) with over 600 rooms, and duties consisted of:
- Managing the design process by leading and monitoring the Design Team.
- Managing and monitoring the preparation of the shop drawings in accordance with the Interior design concept and within project program and timelines.
- Implementation of MEP design in the shop drawings.
- Responsible for the issue of the production drawings and monitoring the construction process at factory
- Managing the preparation and submission of the materials to match budget, timelines for delivery, specifications and technical approval.
- Coordinating between Client, consultant and construction team to implement design related issues and co-ordinate design changes
- Site supervision during construction process to guarantee conformity of execution to approved drawings
Responsible for the design and supervision of the Interior design projects, which duties consisted of:
- Setting the concept design guidelines in accordance with client’s vision and expectation
- Managing the design process by leading and monitoring the Design Team.
- Managing, coordinating and approving the MEP design in accordance with the Interior Design
- Preparation of Tender documents and Specifications
- Managing the preparation of shop drawings, production drawings & material submission for design and build projects
- Prepare projects schedules, budget, and landlord/developer documentation.
- Manage, co-ordinate and control all meetings in relation to the design/ supervision/ shop drawings of contractors to ensure the overall design requirements are integrated into the Project.
- Review and monitor the contractor construction processes, procedures and quality management plans
- Managing the review of key milestone deliverables for completion in relation to quality of construction/design
- Implementation and co-ordination of design changes
- Value engineering the project in terms of evaluating the deliverables, integration of new systems, reducing and controlling the cost
