Duties:
- Lead plant production and maintenance personnel in day to day activities to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Watch over and organize the daily operations of manufacturing plants and similar places.
- Assure for quality control when the item manufactured leaves the plant. They communicate with other departments or parts of the plant to make sure everything is running smoothly.
- Ensure preventative maintenance and repairs of all material handling systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Oversee employees, production and efficiency, to make sure the plant is running smoothly, quickly, efficiently and safely. Ensures that all staff subordinates are suitably trained and qualified for the various tasks and jobs they must complete.
- Collecting and looking through data to find places of waste or places of improvement keep an eye on worker safety and plant safety. To be sure of safety gears availability.
- Follow up with orders production commitments and raw materials availability.
- Clarifying daily stock list of raw materials as per specification to finalize the future requests of raw materials according to the orders in hand.
- Follow up with the daily updated reports for the status of each machine & each line of production.
- Follow up the maintenance request directly to keep the lines of production in process.
- Getting feedback of Labors productivity and problems.
- Checking the daily production stock report before sending to all ceiling sales units.
- Checking and approving the monthly production reports and stock reports before raising them to the higher management.
- Motivate employees to keep operations running smoothly, monitor the production equipment to make sure that it stays in good working order, and repair or replace the equipment when needed
- Monitoring raw materials stock and to coordinate with the purchase department to replace orders on time.
- Follow up and visiting or inviting the raw materials suppliers to be sure of the quality, quantity and delivery. And to solve the quality complains issues.
- Monitoring the packing accessories (cartons, nylon filming, packing straps, scotch tapes, wooden pallets… and to make sure of the availability and to replace request on time.
- Developing the systems, creating new items and keep in follow with the market needs.

My primary responsibilities as a plant manager include the daily management and coordination of plant operations including production, logistics and maintenance while ensuring compliance with all Labors, safety, environmental and corporate policies and regulations.
This is a hands-on position that is responsible for maximizing daily production (up time), increasing productivity, minimizing residuals, auditing inbound and outbound materials, and producing commodities of quality levels acceptable to buyers. This position plays an integral part in plant operations, special projects, and has P&L (Profit & Loss) responsibility for developing and achieving budgetary and production targets.
