Duties & Responsibilities:
• RFQ/PO related all activities in MAXIMO.
• Prepares Request for quotation.
• Prepares and submit Proposal to issue based on guidelines / Instructions.
• Obtain approval / comments for draft RFQ from and submit relevant information to enable external coordination to obtain HPC / CAPT approval.
• Finalize and issue RFQ and attend Pre-Bid meetings as appropriate.
• Perform Commercial and technical evaluation of Bids and offers.
• Prepare necessary recommendation for award in order to obtain necessary approval as per Financial Authority.
• Prepare and Issue Purchase order.
• Prepare necessary call off Purchasing order for Third party inspection as required.
• Receive and review performance bank guarantee.
• Follow up with Contractors / Warehouse for clearance of items under Material discrepancy reports (MDRs).
• Follow up with Contractors for on time delivery of the material and submit periodical status reports.
• Handle all technical matters related to correctness and completeness of purchased materials.
• Review of MTC, Test certificates & Third-Party Inspection Reports.
• Review of drawings / Inspection Plan.
• Review and seek clarification as required from all concerned regarding quoted materials / alternatives / deviations and review Fabrication and Inspection Plan
• Process the Invoice for payment after reviewing for delay and process necessary invoke as required.
• Route the PO for closing after receipt complete and paid.
• Follow up with Contractors for on time delivery of the material.
• Follow up clearance of orders under MDR/MIT
