Report to Project HSE Manager on all HSE matters.
• Stop unsafe acts, recommend corrective actions, and report to Project HSE Manager and Qatar Energy PS-1 HSE Officer.
• Act as Offshore VERT Coordinator onboard the JUB; assist during emergencies. In absence, responsibility transfers to the Brownfield HSE Officer.
• Support Worksite Manager during emergency response (evacuation, rescue, firefighting, etc.).
• Coordinate with PS-1 HSE Officer on HSE concerns and resolution.
• Track and report site HSE KPIs (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Ensure implementation of Project HSE Plan and compliance with all HSE, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Promote protection of personnel, environment, and assets through risk assessment, supervision, and assurance reviews.
• Guide site team on environmental practices; liaise with Project Lead Environmental Engineer.
• Monitor environmental compliance and participate in weekly environmental walks.
• Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work and authorization systems.
• Maintain records of inspections, audits, and drills.
• Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and action follow-ups.
• Conduct HSE inductions and toolbox talks; promote HSE leadership.
• Report anomalies and monitor individual HSE performance (audits, TBT, training).
• Coordinate health programs with Site Doctor; perform regular health & hygiene audits.
