Role: Sampling & analysis of followings.
• Various feed line gas samples such as Ethane rich feed, offshore feed, onshore feed & Ras Laffan.
• Product Propane (C3) & Butane (C4) rundown, pipeline to QP plants & shipment samples.
• LPG Sample feed to various QP plants & shipment samples.
• Cracked LPG & return line C3 & C4 from QP plants samples.
• Station “S” incoming & outgoing-Natural gas, Natural gas Liquid, C2, C3, C4, feed gas, Lean gas.
• Crude oil pipe line & Shipment samples.
• C5 gasoline rundown, tank & shipment.
• Naphtha run down, tank samples & shipment samples.
• Arab D Condensate, Light Condensate rundown, tank & shipment samples.
• In-process gas samples such as Sour gas, Treated gas, Dry Gas & Raw NGL.
• Liquid samples such as Lean & Rich Amine -MDEA, ADIP & Ucarsol. Caustic Lean & Rich samples. Glycol Lean & Rich samples.
• SRU samples -Acid gas, Liquid Sulfur.
• Water samples -Boiler water samples, cooling water outlet from plants & sea fall.
• Calibration of lab measuring instrument as per plan & maintain it.
• LIMS: Sample receipt, data entering, approve result, download PDF, reporting to the customer, non-routine sample login & data analysis by trend chart.
• Documentation of all laboratory work including preparation of Non-complied test report & report to concerned, face internal & external ISO 9001:2015 Audits. Maintain Lab safety as per QP standards.
Role: (Worked since commissioning stage)
• Sampled & analyzed various routine & non-routine natural gas samples such as Sour Feed Gas, Sweet gas, Dry gas, Acid gas, Sales gas (Residue gas), and Natural Gas Liquid (NGL) product composition. Handled Acid gas containing
50% Hydrogen Sulfide.
• Analyzed:
o Hydrocarbon Condensate Liquid/ Lean & Rich Amine samples (MDEA & Flexsorb) used for acid gas removal/ Tri Ethylene Glycol (TEG) used for dehydration of sweet gas
o Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU) & Tail gas treatment unit (TGTU) samples such as Acid Gas, First, Second & Third condenser samples.
o Liquid Sulfur complete analysis.
o Utility Water Samples such as Potable, Cooling Water, Boiler Blow Down, Steam Condensate, DM Water, Boiler Feed/ Sour Water, Injection & Irrigation Water Samples.
o Lube Oil samples for Viscosity, Water content, Acid Number, flash Point & Density.
o Sludge & Scale Samples for LOI, Acid insoluble & complete elemental analysis on ICP
o Natural gas, Instrument air & Nitrogen dew point analysis.
o Stack Gas Emission by LANCOM & GC
o Transformer Oil samples for dissolved gases (DGA) on Transport X
o SQC Samples & SQC data collection for secondary In-house standards/Proficiency Test (PT) Shell Samples
o Online Analyzer sample analysis & compare it with Lab result.
• Engaged in LIMS (Sample Manager 10 Thermo Scientific) which includes sample Login, receiving, completion, authorization, reports generation, reporting to the customers, Trend & data analysis.
• Administering calibration & verification of lab instruments & maintaining records: troubleshooting of lab instrument.
• Preparing standard reagents, solutions & indicators
• Drafting laboratory reports & weekly off-spec summary report and reporting to senior management; interacting with customers for off-spec samples.
• Monitoring the stock of chemicals, glassware’s & consumables and providing feedback to Chemist /Sr. Chemist
• Maintaining documentation of lab record to comply with internal & external ISO audits.
• Reporting unsafe act & unsafe condition inside lab & inside plant through online incident report system.

o LLDPE plant catalysts like TOB, SIMP and reduction
o THT catalyst for HDPE film grade & maintained its conversion record
o Polymer additives, antioxidants, master batches as per quality plans
o Polymer In-process samples (LLDPE, HDPE & PP) reactor resin samples
o Finished product extruder & lot samples of various grades of LLDPE, HDPE & PP plant samples
• Managed raw materials, in-process, lot samples data entry in LIMS (Lab ware) and uploaded complied product lots in SAP; evaluated non-routine samples & special polymer sample
• Analyzed BTX plant samples - Crude Aromatics, distilled Benzene, Toluene & Xylene.
• Analyzed Antioxidant Additives Irgaphos 168 & Irganox 1010 content in Polymer on HPLC
• Conducted round robin analysis of In-house (SABIC Group) & external (ASTM) samples & reporting
• Collected SPC data for instruments, defined limits & maintained records.
• Assisted chemist for calibrations of polymer lab measuring instruments and maintained records
• Administered Online Analyzer Optical Control System (OCS) startup, shutdown & monitored analysis trends & compared result with offline analysis for various grades of LLDPE, HDPE & PP
• Imparted training to laboratory trainee technicians related to quality plans, sampling schedule, standard procedures, and lab systems of routine, non-routine and special samples managing.

• Performed environmental analysis such as Ambient air quality Monitoring, Stack emission monitoring, worker dust exposure level monitoring, Ambient & work area noise level monitoring.
• Prepared annual budget & tracked its utilization.
• Handled various quality related customer complaints. Visited customer sites & performed joint analysis. Feedback reported to the management.
• Developed new packing material HDPE laminated CRAFT paper bags; this has increased strength & reduced customer complaint of bag damage & increased 30% loading in export containers.
• Identified root cause of customer complaint (Lumps in product) & resolved it by plant modification.
• Resolved fouling corrosion problem in plate type heat exchanger by studying water quality & changing biocide dosing in cooling water.

Analyzed finished product Iso-Butyl benzene & prepared its COA for export & domestic dispatches.
Analyzed effluent treatment plant (ETP) water samples as per statutory requirement.
Done development work of Potassium carbonate recovery from spent water containing potassium carbonate & Sodium Hydroxide.
