Clinical role
Supervises, instructs, and evaluates students in a hospital, diabetic or rehabilitation clinics and/or college lab.
Plans and conducts student conferences.
Demonstrates nursing skills and procedures as care for special cases as diabetic, bed ridden, demented, sensory impaired elders…. etc.
Performs clinical instructions, and demonstrations; observes return demonstration from students.
Coordinates work with nurses and Education Department when using hospital, nursing homes or other clinical settings.
Assists in tutoring students to prepare for tests; monitors testing and students' progress.
Plans and reviews assignments and observe skills and procedures as guloco-check, anthropometric measurements, dressing for bed sores and diabetic foot.
Maintains a current library of nursing periodicals and books; supervises the operation of audiovisual films, materials, and equipment.
Prepares clinical/lab equipment for demonstrations and lectures; orders necessary supplies and equipment; performs related duties as assigned.

Prepares written summaries and reports containing recommendations for improving the clinical training.
Community role
Member of the community counseling office in the faculty of nursing which provides counseling services for community population through conducting health teaching classes about the management of different heath conditions as DM, CVD, …etc.
Lectures on and demonstrates procedures as self-insulin injection, guloco-check, and diabetic foot care, and diet planning using motion pictures, charts, slides, projectors, and other audiovisual aides.
In-services training workshops for care givers of disabled or aged persons.
